I have a supervisor who has some form of NPD and he routinely loses his mind over petty things. Every colleague we have seems to dislike him. Does Micron have systems in place for employees to work through issues caused by a supervisor with a personality disorder? Is jumping ship the only real option? Has anyone who used the available paths to deal with a truly bad supervisor had any success getting out of their situation without retaliation?

Absolutely, positively do not try to report this type of thing through the proper channels. I have been with the company for around 10 years and every time I have seen someone try to challenge a superior on something like this it will end up blowing back on you. Even if you manage to get some sort of action it will follow you around through the old "office politics" chain. The best option is to look at lateral transfers to a different group while you wait it out.
The only person I knew who tried to go through proper channels due to a toxic senior leader ended up conveniently being part of the 2022 RIF. I changed organizations (as in under a different EVP's org) to get away from that leader. Hopefully you'll be able to successfully navigate this.
Document it all; dates, time, situation, reactions, reactions from coworkers.
Had to sadly do it to a coworker years ago when he had transferred back to my area and couldn’t remember how to do anything.
Just bide your time. Sounds like he's just the type to be fast-tracked for promotion around here. He will be other people's problem soon enough.
