I can't tell you how many hours are lost every day because of faulty network or connection issues. I won't report them anymore because they go into a bottomless pit.
I just sit and stew about it. and if I'm doing that and everyone else is doing the same, think of the thousands of hours down the drain .
Such a waste. But then again, what do you expect from S running the group.

@hm Or every time Salesforce logs you out and then you need to log back in with the lovely in-house 2FA. Makes me want to smash my head through a wall.
Every day, at least once a day, I just get thrown off my connection. I'm in the f'n middle of typing and my stupid machine decides my account isn't valid anymore. Can I just reconnect? nooooo, I have to actually reboot my stinkn machine, which means I have to spend a bunch of time saving all the work I was in the middle of performing before I can reboot.
Another hour down the drain because the disruption causes your brain to wander, smoke, obsess, forget what you wanted to do next, think how to get back at the id--ts that are in charge...
When Renee M left and Shannon took over everything went to he-l. Now we are more MicroFocus and no longer OpenText. There were a lot of good things/ideas that MicroFocus brought to the table but Mark B squashed all that and we are left being SMAXed in the face with all the issues with no budget or headcount to fix anything. The only think that could save us is a ki-ler product, but that’s not happening… Titanium X and the Aviators were strike 1 and 2. The next Ayman product will be strike 3 where the exec leave with golden parachutes and we are left sweeping the floors before we lock the doors for good.
I can’t even log onto SFDC or VPN NetIQ sends a notification that never arrives the TOTP doesn’t work joke
I've never seen such a goat rodeo in a support operation.
Last week I tried to put in a ticket. The portal came back and said data error or I have no permissions. Huh? But it created tickets every time I tried it. Now, I'm being pestered to approve the ticket closure, and can't.
Help and support portals have been around for decades. Yet, somehow we can't get one to function. I can't imagine what our customers go through.
I won't even get into the dysfunction junction that is ollie and our internal structures. Between them and the tribal knowledge, it's tough to get things done.
S’s team loves those tickets logged for showing resolution KPI at leadership. And later they hire co-ops under AI role, to clean those using agents. What else she did in last 3 years since joined ?
