Does anyone actually know what is going on? The total lack of communication or transparency makes it seem ominous.

@fq They pump their numbers already. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked to change query parameters because they don’t like the numbers they see. They just keep changing the definitions of things until the numbers are in their favor.
Can't wait for the business leaders to learn how to use natural language AI reporting prompts to pump their numbers just enough to pass scrutiny...and then blame it on AI or training. The future is concerning.
Reporting, Data, and Analytics is a function that AI is a natural fit for taking over.
Keep in mind … severance is “supplemental” now. Most likely if you qualify you’ll be required to file/draw unemployment benefits and that amount will be deducted from your Elevance pay. At least that’s what’s been done the last few RIFs in Ops.
@dz Thank you!!
RDA is Reporting, Data, and Analytics.
what's rda?
Feel free, lay me off. I’ll take the six months of severance.
Of course there will be layoffs - I hope they layoff the right people and give huge big severance after q4 so we get partial bonuses-
Having an interim leader is important for the layoffs coming. They will have the interim leader sign off on the layoffs and absorb the blame. The new permanent leader will come in as the good guy.
Forgive my ignorance, what does RDA stand for?
Reorgs are always ominous. Of course there is going to be riffs because of this. The fact the current leader is just the interim leader is concerning for me. Why not hire the leader first, then do the reorganization. I don’t think it makes any sense at all. You will have some ego driven executive that thinks they know better to steamroll changes that will hurt us in the long run. I think this will be a disaster.
