Thread regarding PayPal layoffs

Distrusted that man from the very beginning when they pushed Alex. "Tough on problems soft on people", when he'd laid off thousands at HP was the first indication he was a slimy good for nothing. I wouldn't even trust him to compost the grass I'd just mown.

@av oh boy.
I remember these 'People Rule!' and 'our people is our most valuable asset' slogans.
A far cry from then, nowadays actual people are treated like a complete dog**it here, one might think they are barely tolerated and regarded as some form of inconvenience.

Nice post….I personally don’t think the guy gets enough hate. Jamie Miller was pretty hated before but I think Enrique managed to take that crown pretty quick. Way to go king!

Agreed, enough is enough and this guy needs to announce a deal or layoffs or whatever. For a company that had people as their most important asset they sure treat us with little respect.

@ap according to my team it’s like watching paint dry.

He certainly isn’t helping execute goals any faster. I was told he was brought on because Alex was moving too slowly. Well, if Alex was moving too slowly I don’t even know what you call the pace of Enrique.

Watching my retirement go up in flames for the past 5 years really makes me wish I left a long time ago. They’re are talking about a sale price at $80 a share and I’m pretty sure my average is more than that. Busting my butt and investing in my company will give me a loss at the end of the day. Wild.

I have to agree this guy is awful at communicating and everyone in my department seems to just be anxious and confused. Employee morale is reaching lows and I don’t think this is how you want to build a culture within a company. It will not end well in the long run.
