Saw an org announcement that we now have seven CIOs with overlapping responsibilities (we had some of them before). I guess things were going so well with chief dipsh-t as CDIO that they decided we needed even more chief dipsh-ts. This played out at Optum a decade ago - spoiler alert: it ends with RIFs and consolidation.

Oh yeah, these definitely get consolidated in the next 18 months. RAT leaves, we hire a new id--t from outside, a couple of these CIOs retire very wealthy and the rest of us get a whole new reporting structure.
