In December, CW was exited and the role was eliminated by Hill stating it was to remove layers.
Today, role is reinstated and offered to JE from Walmart and is now considered a vital role and critical to the strategy.
Optically speaking, this is horrible. Leadership never beating the allegations that they are just throwing sh-t at the wall and seeing what sticks.

Most of these C level roles are just made up to fit whomever they are wanting to hire at the time.

Yeah keep hiring highly compensated VPs. First in ITC tech and now this one. But to get a grade 35 or 40 approved which gets a fraction of VP compensation but delivers 5x the work... that needs so many levels of approvals, indefinite timelines and hoops to jump through. It's a joke.
