I heard it from the Big Man himself.
There will be announcement late November stating that WFH Mondays are back 1/1/2027.
The main motivation is all the feedback in the CES

@jd it’s “can’t care less” not “could care less” artard. I have no respect for fools who don’t know this
I sure hope it's true because I am SO SO tired of having to work on Mondays. I need my rest and my Me time to run errands and take care of things around the house. Please let this be true.
This is confirmed; it was raised at the last XLT
NO CHANCE SNOWFLAKES
MW has no time for snowflakes with no work ethic. I wish he’d RTO five days a week.
I call BS. MW doesn't talk to anybody and could care less what the survey has to say. If you don't like it here than move on. In fact, MW thinks he can run the place using Chatgpt.
@h1 except they took our offices away too
For all who argue about the need/want/right to WFH, your job is not that important. When you hired on, most understood that you had an office for a reason. If you don’t like it, go sell door to door. Or if you work from home, take a pay cut since your expenses are diminished
@gq, Yes sir, thanks fellow Chevron parent. CVX pays for me, my spouse, and all of my 9 kids and we can do all that right here at home no need to commute. All I need is roughly 15 to 45 minutes a day to take care of whatever they think I'm supposed to do, or pretend to do, then it's back to changing diapers! If I don't have much work piled up for me to get in my 30 minutes a day I just log in and keep the mouse clickin' and it's all good. Just send me that fat paycheck, I have mouths to feed, this is like slavery, these people are tyrants, I'm telling you!
@cj thank you for being a voice. I’ve had seven kids back to back to take advantage of the parental leave. Haven’t seen the office in ten years and now I’m expected to dump my kids that they paid for? Gimme a dang package, please….
0.000000000000000000000% chance this is happening.
@OP
To me the big man is Santa Claus
Troll
@cj 30-45 minutes including lunch time ?
Good for office people I guess
@bh, Why would you pick on stay at home mom's and dad's? We need to take care of our toddler children and be at home for them and tend to their needs 24-7 and even more during waking hours. It's a full time job in case you don't have a clue. WFH allows all of us to perform our full time parenting duties which is non-stop. Chevron does not require that much of our time, maybe a total of 30 to 45 minutes in an entire day (on a really long day) so why waste all of our time if we are supposed to be so valuable? I can take it that you are not a family person and were likely raised in a double-wide. Enjoy your commute.
@c3 Guessing so they can get the SR people who aren't moving to quit first. But agree, doesn't align with their forced attrition strategy.
@ab what do you mean by that?
why wait? If truly CES driven and given the best impact for feedback is with immediate course correction what does waiting until Jan do? Thats what makes me skeptical. Hopeful but skeptical.
Here come all the people who can’t stand their families but love their commutes and spending half their day in coffee chat catch-ups because they think that’s working.
Actually it will be WFH M-F for some
Good. Nowhere to hide anymore
