Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

the mass exodis of NetApp leadership to HP.. What dont we know?

Anybody notice the mid level and upper level leadership at NetApp leaving and all ending up at HP.

1st. Who can say they enjoy working at NetApp? the whole company changed, and the existing leadership ki-led it.
2nd. Its good to know Sandeep wont be going to HP, he was already tossed out like a dirty diaper.
3rd. What do the leaders that left know that we dont know. Whats up with Netapp, whats up with HP.
4th. yep, layoffs coming. they are ALWAYS coming. They layoff a title, replace that person with someone else having a slightly diffrent title, exact same job because some new leader wants to hire a friend from a former company.

5th. I talked to friend at a company like PWC. Its common talk, NetApp retention is 100% compensation focused. Leadership at NetApp knows the people are misserable and will leave at first chance.

Top down, the culture at NetApp has turned so bad over the last few years! It’s time for GK to go and bring in a more sales minded leader, like the days of Dan Warmenhoven.

The environment/culture is shut up, do your job (which with all the layoffs, and changes, you’re expected to do 2 or 3x the work you should be) or your name will be in the next layoff list. HR can’t be trusted, retaliation is real , and leaders have their motives they’re trying to push, regardless of the negative impacts to the business……again, you question or speak up, your names on the next layoff list.

It’s extremely sad to see, NetApp was once Forbes #1 greatest place to work!!! Oh how the mighty have fallen. You’d think leaders care, instead, they just double down on the bullsh-t!!!!

Sandeep is toxic and unpleasant to the PM org but he fits right in with NetApp culture. How underlings Director level and up are equally worse.

No other tech company is different. This career is a minefield. It is full of snakes, rats and leeches everywhere you go. Get paid and plan your exit from this sh-t career field ASAP. You will thank me later.
