Do we still need exploration? How much value has exploration created last 5yrs?

Lol.. yes, the oil that mailed the letter to you allowing you to ship it to the customer. No value in exploration? Ridiculous.

I just love those JA articles and interviews out there about how AI is identifying Guyana at some absurd 90+% as if we didn’t use that data to train the models. If it’s so damn good, then how about the very next prospect we drill be YUGE too? Or how about the next 10 prospects?

JA’s quotes make us sound ridiculous and is an insult to actual explorers

I guess management believes that computer based modeling will pay off relooking at pervious data will open more opportunities than new drilling.

I think if we do exploration right, we’ll-considered, technically-sound risks, we have the people and a good chance to create more value vs competition and M&A.

One challenge is that our most senior leaders have zero exploration (and in many cases zero upstream) experience…

We have some fantastic leaders in exploration, just be patient.
