Nike’s Compassion Cartel Deleted the Last Post

Apparently the last Lindsay Clancy post disappeared, which means somebody’s corporate empathy costume got tugged a little too hard. Nothing screams “we welcome difficult conversations” quite like deleting one the moment it makes a self-appointed morality officer uncomfortable.

The case must have Nike’s compassion cartel working overtime. Nothing excites these sanctimonious office hemorrhoids like a horrific tragedy complicated enough to turn into a sermon about their own emotional intelligence.

Watch them flatten three dead children, postpartum mental illness, and criminal responsibility into a fashionable opinion—then congratulate one another for being “brave” enough to repeat it. By lunchtime, someone will have converted the case into a leadership lesson, added an inspirational quote, and tagged six executives.

These are the same compassionate saints who will defend a complete stranger while the facts are still being weighed by a jury, then casually celebrate a coworker losing their livelihood because an org chart needed “simplifying.”

At Nike, empathy is apparently limitless—as long as it costs nothing, threatens nobody important, and can be performed publicly for applause.

Now hurry up and delete this one too. Someone might accidentally experience an opinion they didn’t approve in advance.

@aj If you haven’t heard, she’s being heavily backed by a pack of self-righteous corporate enabler Karens. They’ve swallowed her victim act whole and now defend it like unquestioning little foot soldiers which tells you everything about their judgment and absolutely nothing about the truth.

@OP solid post. HR is a joke and probably the biggest risk to Nike. Don’t trust them to protect you. They are THE enemy. I can remember when they were trustworthy and actually did the right thing holding people accountable. Now there is a “protected class” of VPs and their GF’s that think they are insulated from being exposed. All it takes is a group of employees willing to tell the truth, the whole truth. Don’t ever underestimate the power of standing in unity with those that see you and know right from wrong. When my leader lied and told me that people said certain things - I fact checked every time only to continuously discover what she was actually doing. Those leaders came to realize the same thing and when the truth comes out she will look like the id--t. Silence isn’t a requirement but having a moral compass is. SB you can’t do unethical things and expect people to respect you. Do better. Or better yet, leave the org and go sit with the other Koolaid drinkers doing fake work.

Forgive my ignorance but what the F does Nike and Lindsay Clancy have in common? Did I miss something?

@a1 yep. That’s their specialty. Serve it up with a side of misconduct and false narratives to protect “the sorority brothers and sisters”. I filed multiple speak up complaints and have a mountain of evidence to back them up. HR and ER are part of Legal and so is Resilience. Very few with morals but the minute they see something on this forum that makes them look bad they are tattling for fear of being exposed. It’s kinda funny. So hey SBS I know that you are reading this. Tell AS that I said hello if he hasn’t figured out who you are yet. It’s gotta be hard to keep the mask from falling. There isn’t one person that doesn’t see through your lies and manipulation. HR has a motive and it’s self preservation for the company but they can’t hide everything. Sometimes it’s up to a judge and a jury where they see past the f-**ckery. My message to all is to document everything! Keep screenshots of text messages and print emails that you follow up on. Ask for a copy of your personnel file. Report anonymously and then to the EEOC. Nike is a big company but the truth doesn’t lie and nobody has to work at the hands of an abuser.
