I took a CST job years ago, but the company never changed my job title. The CSTs in my office are being offered a package. Is the union able to get a package for someone who was not offered the package, because the company didn’t change their title? Has anyone heard of this happening before? I am waiting for a call back from my local.

So 1st question I have is were you paying Union dues all this time?? If not why? If you weren’t, you want the union to get you a package but didn’t support them over these years. I find it hard to believe you were not concerned about your job title because your salary, raises and benefits are dependent on it. If you were paying them then it should be a fix they could handle.
Call your hall
Not likely because you’ve worked with that job title for years by your own admission. If there was a problem, you should have worked to have your title corrected years ago.
