With the stock price plummeting back to all time lows, will there be additional layoffs to cut expenses?

I’m tired boss
Yes, I will do something about it.
Right after you stop your incessant bootlicking. Do let me know if you ever become capable. 😘
@a9 that is why we are back to red: no buyout yet means same id--ts running the clownshow. If the board and c-suite were gutted, the stock would probably turnaround. These leaders failed their employees for 5 years.
This company is disappearing fast. No longer relevant 📉
I heard something crazy yesterday and not sure if true but they were saying at the current share price we buy back about $.75 a share each month. Meaning just to stay at the same company value we would need to increase $.75 a share each month. Thats wild and I’m not sure why we get this treatment.
Let's be real. Enrique has one job and that is to slim the company. He will be hated for it, but it's what he was brought in to to do, so he's doing it. He was never intended to be the future of PayPal, but the company needs to be trimmed down in order to make a fresh start. Unfortunately, it means that it will look nothing like what it did previously, but it's time that this business is run like a business and not a social experiment. The social issues that PayPal has taken on are admirable, but not profitable. The fact that stock did not immediately drop to the pre-buyout numbers, or even lower, shows that there is confidence in PayPal's current trajectory. I have not seen any analysts predicting $30. That's just a defeatist attitude. My question is, why do you continue to work for a company you hate? You have freedom to work elsewhere rather than blaming your own outcome on others' actions. So, will you do something about it or just take to anonymous forums and make up fake predictions from your frustration?
Every time I look it’s worse.
You had your few weeks of green when there was a potential buyout on the table. Now that Stripe walked prepare for another 300 days of red. Analysts predicting the stock will be in the $30 range by November. I don’t think a few job cuts will help at this point. I like the idea of hiring Tim from Apple but that would never happen :(
$42 won’t even hold this time. We’re going into the $30’s. He also seems to be unclear on the RIF plan which makes everything more confusing. He clearly said there would be layoffs by now but we haven’t really seen anything. He is just scaring everyone for no reason so I have a bunch of anxious teammates with little productivity as they wait their future. I think the CEO is clueless on this matter.
Yay, my retirement account will be less today and I will probably lose my job on top of it. This is the company that just keeps on giving.
@a2 damn, imagine if we actually got a real CEO like Tim. We would probably revolutionize the payment industry.
Markets tend to react well to job cuts so probably
We need to hire Tim Cook and give him whatever he wants!!!
