Does anyone have any insight on whether there will be lay offs at other HQ locations such as Tempe, Sioux Falls, and Salt Lake City?

A lot of commenting on merch, tss, and tts but does anyone have any insight on frs?

I know it's probably a range the size of Texas, but bonuses, RSUs/stock options aside, does anyone know what kind of salaries the VPs let go today we're making. Ballpark-ish?

Having .com Buyers and store Buyers seems a little redundant, but really two different jobs considering .com Buyers have a different skill set. Any word on the fate of any type of buyer?

What do you think - what's the likelihood that Senior Buyers will be laid off?

Is it worth it to retain legal counsel to negotiate a better severance package? Or do you just sign on the dotted line?

What are your thoughts?

I accepted a job this fall to be an incoming BA with Target starting this June. Does anybody know the chances of them rescinding the offer?

It's a certainty they already know who's staying and going, why not tell people asap so they can move on and not have to check layoffs.com for updates on their livelihood. Also how does this wait help business???

WCCO-TV just reported that layoffs at Target HQ should be approximately 2,600 people. And that those being laid off will be notified within two weeks.

If Target is going to lay off that many people, they should do it in one fell swoop. The notion that each day, any employee, could face a layoff is NOT the way to run a company. Either shit or get off the pot.

In Target India..people were called into a room and then they were just asked to pack up in 5 mins and leave. There were cabs downstairs to drop people home and there was an ambulance as well in case of any emergency. You will get to talk to your... — read more
