You are wrong with your assessment of 1700 people to be laid off. It is more like 3,000. It is all of the areas you specified, but deeper. 100 stores are closing. AND NO new stores opening this year.

Target communication today indicates that they will NOT match salary increase implemented by Walmart to increase minimum wage of workers.
