Yeah I dont think anyone else was actually layed off at corporate except for a couple archivists. no one said anything else about any other jobs or departments being affected. i think this is not as a big of a deal as people are making it out to be.

So then no one except IT departments were laid off? And only jobs in India were affected? Does that mean that no one at headquarters was actually fired? That doesn't seem to be too bad. Target must not be such a bad company after all.

Total 600 were layed off. Almost all were outsourced to Infosys (Indian company). 150 were cut in the head quarters alone. NO its not just archivists. Entire IT departments were cut and given to Infosys. Next round is coming soon..
