Field hands be wise! You will be working for free.
If you are still in the field be careful how many days you put in because very soon they will not be able to make payroll. Executives need the cash for their bonuses for failing. Weatherford will go down in history as the most mismanaged oilfield... — read more
Big companies
Oilfield services companies that are small are where it’s at. In a small company nobody stands around watching you do the work. In a big company there are too many people that have no skills trying to tell the skilled people what to do. There was big... — read more

Upper management planning their exit strategy?
They slashed experianced staff, they had a bad accounting year which cost them $500M. They put a bunch of muppets in key management rolls and canceled strategic RnD. The company has been on its last legs for years. Those who were laid off a few years... — read more

Tax Loss Selling
Will only accelerate on this stock from now to end of year. Seller's won't care if they sell at $1.00 or $.01 to get their benefit, as there clearly is no upside potential remaining.

Thoughts?
Weatherford WFT to be delisted from NYSE
If WFT closed below $1.00 for 30 consecutive trading days, then the NYSE would initiate the official delisting process. We are three days into this and if the price stays under a buck for next 27 days, Weatherford will be delisted.

Believe it or not, the high debt load could be the only thing keeping us afloat
The high debt load is what's keeping us afloat. No lenders will call in the loans as they will get nothing for their investment. Other companies probably won't be interested in trying to buy us out (hostile or friendly) as they wouldn't want to take... — read more

Who’s to blame for this fiasco?
I personally hold the lower level employees accountable. It’s at best C class students and the majority of the blame sits with this employee group, NOT management.
