It sucks to be laid off on a Thursday and not get paid for the full week. Just another way to screw you over by not letting you use your sick or vacation time for that last day so you can get a full paycheck.

With all the recent announcement about furloughs, 401k, paycuts, does this mean the recent announcement about 6,000 layoffs will not happen? What is the status on this, hopefully they have decided not to lay off anyone else. Thank you

Furloughs are doubled, for a total for 20% now. Also RRSPs are no longer being matched.
