Heard some divisions had layoffs, others not. Can anyone provide details, location? numbers? floor hands vs office, etc

Management told me that round 2 will start as soon as all early retirement people respond. Supposedly the new goal is to layoff the total 8000 asap rather than wait until the next quarter.
