Dead weight

If true leaders would actually get rid of the dead weight then this would not be happening. The sad part is the company is going to lose a ton of badass employees and be stuck with that complacent dead weight. WHOLE FOODS MARKET YOU JUST SHOT... — read more

Americas healthiest grocey store?

Thanks. I am now unable to afford my medication needed to control an incurable genetic disease until I can find work that offers benefits good enough to cover it (hahaha) and qualify for them. F*** YOU. As decent as the healthcare was it was still... — read more

Pay

Severance pay will not pay for a college education to fuel the problem occurring in the current corporate world that has overcome WFM as of recently. No wonder John Mackey didn't show his face in the Charlotte stores two weeks ago as he was expected... — read more

Just because we create a 365 brand. Our customers don't want that. We as a company should have stayed the way we were with John Mackey.

I'm a team member. I'm loyal to whole foods. I was with M's Gooch's who was bought out by WFM. I m in the same position I have been for 30 years with out being caped out. I have been a ATL. I am a Meat Cutter. Yet I'm in entirely at different job, I... — read more

irresponsible

I'm a team member from the south region, I have to say that asking very important roles of the store to quit within four days or to reapply is a total social irresponsibility. My team, which rakes in 37 % of store sales is now down three 40 hour... — read more

Whole foods buyout

I've heard rumors of a possible buyout at some point... has anyone else heard this? And what is the likelihood of another restructure in the near future? This is so ridiculous. I had such faith in this company at one point, but now it's all gone to... — read more

Looks like an earlier post was deleted that quoted the regional president about these not being layoffs or pay cuts, but a restructuring. Can someone repost? I'm assuming it was deleted because an unfaltering photo was attached to one of the... — read more

TM with 25 years of service gone! WTF?!

I can't believe the got rid of our sanitation TM today, after 25 years. He was a sweet old retarded man, who didn't really do anything, but was very friendly. At the end of his shift, they took him out back, and shot him in the head! I'm still in... — read more

I've seen this coming for awhile.

They put awful, absolutely incompetent people in team leader positions, the company is being run by clowns. It's sad because there are so many talented team members, but in order to be in management you have to be soulless and willing to sell out... — read more

It has begun.

At my store today, they killed several puppies in a sacrifice to the ghost of John Mackey, which, doesn't really make sense, considering he is still alive.

Leave your TM discount cards at home.

Until the press release is out and restructuring comes to global, I don't plan to spend my paycheck on home turf. The company is not making wise use of available resources.

Marketing TLs expected to be cut

Mid Atlantic region has mandatory TL/ATL meetings tomorrow. Expect layoffs in one of the best performing regions... after months of bullying TLs to cut labor, push employees harder, be more strict with no OT and more Corrective Actions. Sad.
