Anyone revive Tom Wilson’s Email this evening?

I Quit Allstate

I left the company, got hired at target (as a floor manager) and am making 8K more than I did with my previous claims role.... allstate does not pay/treat employees right

Curious

Due to COVID 19, all insurance companies are making money hand over fist. No rate reductions and refunds/credits are minimal and short term. The insurance companies are taking the people to slaughter with not adjusting premiums accordingly. Where is... — read more

The August 3 deadline has been delayed

Everyone who thought they were safe from the "assessment" due date of August 3, it's not true. Delays, delays, delays. Allstate does not give a sh– about anyone. This could not have been planned any worse. id–ts.

This could have been done better

I've now experienced both types of layoffs. I've been brought in a room and told the site is closing in 90 days and now this. They both stink. If the company chooses to operate differently and layoff people it's with in their right. I think there is... — read more

Discounted insurance

The benefits are already lousy, but then the discount on the product that we provide is garbage. 1% off insurance? Seems very few Allstate employees actually have Allstate for insurance, quite a reflection on the company.

Claims update. Meetings Wednesday.

Meetings are hitting calendars for claims areas on Wednesday 8/5 starting tonight and tomorrow. I already heard of some getting a meeting scheduled for Wednesday as of this evening already. Hearing the meetings are for most claims areas but can't... — read more

Casualty claims

Does anyone have insight if there’s any reduction for BI rep, UM and Lit adjusters? I keep seeing is LDU and auto nothing about casualty.

Office closures

Strategic plan announced. All offices that are not the four main offices for claims will be shut down. This will allow reduction in overhead costs.

Like flies

Post something critical and watch how quick the paid trolls are there with their down vote.... Like blowflies.... They must thing folks are truly stupid..

August 3rd

Supposedly D day for Home Office. Not a word, strangely and eerily quiet for a Monday. This transparency is clear as mud

Hello, can any of the eSurance folks in claims tell me if claims processor was a role in your organization prior to your rebranding to Allstate? Asking for a friend. Thank you.

Can we sue Allstate

For mental distress among other things? Being dragged along for months with missed deadlines and misinformation? Now we may not know anything until the beginning of next year?

Real growth

Growth by the expensive purchase of other smaller companies is not real growth... I currently work for Progressive. We have beaten you because we have better customer service and a better product. I am proud to say that I work for Progressive. We... — read more

What to expect this week?

Any news or information on what we can expect this week? This is really a poor handling of thousands of livelihoods in the middle of a pandemic. Lay offs that are not really needed and just corporate greed. I have not had a full night's sleep in... — read more

Consumer reports expose from February 2020

If you have not done so, read the Consumer Reports expose on the Allstate formula for determining premiums. It was found that the “formula” overcharges customers who are unlikely to leave and undercharges those folks who are a bigger risk but likely... — read more

Allstate went from the best to the worst

Allstate has paid employees who search social media for anyone/anything bad about them on all formats of social media. Paid employees to spin bad press. The company has become unethical and stingy cheap. The public and and the former kool-aid... — read more

Who gets the final say?

Do we know who gets the final say when it comes to choosing who to lay off? Considering the type of people who usually end up being cut (older, higher earners,) it seems like it's not the direct managers who make these determinations but somebody... — read more

Adjusters

We are the backbone of this company, it’s extremely difficult to leave on Friday, get 2-3 claims each day of the weekend and then 5 more on Monday, on top of whatever needs to be addressed from previous claims. I wish they would tell us what is next... — read more

Esurance

Does any one have any info on esurance claims? What will Allstate do with the esurance field & desk appraisers?

Glen Shapiro is reasonable.

He really is an executive that brings years of successful leadership to Allstate Also, his compensation is essentially upper middle class, not super wealthy like some people here try to claim.
