Level Designation

Is there a way to find out what level an employee is? I suspect one of L3s got demoted and since then developed attitude issues.

Tables with sharp edges

Hey, AT&T Plano - can we get actual desks with rolled edges instead of a sharp edged table? You are going to give us Carpal Tunnel!

They don’t care.

When it comes to RTO: Don’t bother even bringing these topics up because to the Big Kahuna, they are ignored. This is how it has been addressed for the last two years. They don’t care about your 2 -4 hour commute. (They will ignore that... — read more

11/22 Layoff

There will be a notification on 11/22 for next round. Any ideas which org?

Start pushing back and ask for answers

Make them tell you why you need to be in the office 5 days a week. It’s funny watching them squirm because none of them have any real reasons. (Other than making you quit, but they’ll never say the quiet part out loud) Before Covid, 0 days were... — read more

This year has been all about "doing more with less"

This basically translates to us working extra hours, busting our backs, and still not getting paid what we deserve. T's new mantra is "be grateful you even have a job." It’s infuriating. They expect more every day, but where’s the appreciation or... — read more

Layoffs next couple of years

The job marketplace is going to get much more crowded with the new government efficiency office reducing bloated bureaucracy. If one is on the fence, now would be the time to jump ship. I’m not waiting around for my new relocation offer, the election... — read more

The future of AT&T

I would welcome a quarterly surplus of the lowest performers. We can barely keep up with our work demands, which is great for the company, but we need additional resources. Not just warm bodies, but instead workers with a drive to produce and... — read more

Intrado to take over 911 in Florida and Georgia?

I was told by an Intrado employee that they were close to signing a contract with both Georgia and Florida for cloud hosted systems in which each state would have one central location, thus eliminating individual county or city 911 centers. He also... — read more

Top brass are cowards

The AT&T leadership team needs to grow a pair and push back on Stanley’s constant attack on the workforce. Most of AT&T has not been full time office workers in almost 20 years. What happened to work/life balance, increased productivity measures... — read more

AT&T Benefits Center Dropping Retiree Medical Benefits

Does anyone have an internal AT&T benefits administrator telephone # or contact? Alight dropped my Retiree pre65 Medical Benefits abruptly and I'm unable to contact anyone with AT&T. Only offshore employees giving a run around for the last couple... — read more

You’re a mean one… Mr. Grinch!

It’s understanding for people to be upset about a 5 day RTO when their entire 20 year career has been a hybrid FOW model. But that’s not where things get really nasty. The part where employees are being treated poorly is to have these demands, yet... — read more

Question regarding Retiree Health Care Coverage?

Have any retirees moved back to one of the two AT&T Retiree Medical plans and away from a private insurance plan? I currently have AETNA ADVANAGE and have had good luck with it but I'm just wondering if anyone has shifted to the AT&T UHC plan. Why... — read more

Noise Cancelling

It’s hilarious to me that we can’t get noise cancelling headphones without paying out of pocket. The background noise on these office calls is ridiculous. Can quite literally hear full conversations in the background. It’s like a call center. — read more

I don't get why people bother

Every single one of us will eventually be phased out for someone overseas. Knowing that, I don't even bother all that much anymore. I'm looking for another job and as I am, I do the very minimum I can to get away with. I'm not giving them anything... — read more

Global phone sales in steady decline

I was at he phone store in the mall in a big city on a saturady. Also went on a friday. I saw every phone store empty except for the store workers. It doesn't matter which telco of the three it is. Nobody want's a new phone. I don't want a new... — read more

5x week/8hrs in office

Does anyone know when this will be across all organization for all employees L1+? Do they plan on communicating this at some meeting at some point so we can plan accordingly?

AT&T management's idiocy in a nutshell

Company has spent millions on tracking employees and will not spend any money to fix the terrible applications we have to work with. Some days I amazed that our network just doesn’t collapse on itself. This sumps up AT&T management's idiocy... — read more

How is this supposed to work?

Can somebody explain how this place keeps insisting on hiring cheap labor while expecting top-tier talent? Where’s the logic in that? I’m genuinely curious about their thought process - does it involve magic or something? I joke, but honestly... — read more

SIPP announced for systems techs

Read this Csuite

Trust and respect for "Leadership" at AT&T is in very short supply. They don't lead, they follow. If Amazon does it, it must be good. Well, AT&T isn't Amazon and Stankey isn't Jassy. But worse, the Csuite antics from the deals of the century (the... — read more

Just a guess about Level 3+ ratio

I know lots of layoffs and changes but my guess based on observation is the ratio between levels 3+ and 1&2 has actually increased - just not nearly enough attrition at the L3+. What say you? Am I correct or not.

Susan Johnson org

They're asking leaders to begin planning for RTO and communicate real estate needs. Target date is Jan 1st week 2025. Going to be a disaster.
