EGC: John Stankey admitted to using AI to query what people are doing
It should come as no surprise but at the employee group conference Stankey admitted to using AI to query things like how many power points had a version of x or more, how many meetings include x or more people. This is what he's admitting to. Just a... — read more
Wow -- I received notification that the AT&T Guarantee is working!
AT&T sent me an email that I will be receiving a $0.33 credit for multi-hour internet outage earlier this week. AT&T, in the kindness of their heart, rounded up to make sure I was fully compensated for the outage. And to make it even better, I only... — read more

Company laid off the engineers and now forcing techs doing the zero pen.

AT&T stepped in it now with RTO
Don’t look now, but it looks like the first shoe dropped . A major federal case on telework just found that RTO for telework was uncovered as illegal and exposed for its real intention of a way to force workers off payroll. Since being laid off a... — read more
St. Louis relocation notices next month
St. Louis employees are expected to start getting relocation notices next month. At this point, the direction is obvious. AT&T keeps pulling more jobs into the Dallas area, shrinking its footprint elsewhere, and building toward Plano in 2028. This... — read more
The only way this matters

Rinse and repeat
We want to save money, so we hire people at the lowest possible rate. Then we burn out the good workers managing the bad ones. The good people leave, the bad ones stay, and we hire more cheap people to fill the gap. Then we wonder why nothing gets... — read more
EG Conference
LOL. They got tired of planting employee questions from the audience. Playing Jeopardy - made up their own questions to answer. Too funny.
There’s no question that AT&t is completely a mess
Stankey is a sociopath. I took an offer in July after 45 years. The company treated me fairly and their benefits and support are above average imo. The problem is that this company has no idea of what’s going on. I believe that they’ll be acquired... — read more

Catch me up to speed on AT&T

Work harder so execs compensation package is bigger

Took a year to explain "market-based culture"

Important market based culture update
From Darcie Henry in your inboxes this AM. I won’t read whatever nonsense this is, but hoping someone can just translate for us whatever new intentional misery this will be bringing to being employed here?
Thanks Darcie
These market based behaviors are a game changer.

Commuting to the Office to Work Remotely From the Office
