H1B scapegoat...

Why we keep blaming H1B when things do not work the way we want it to be. H1B is HERE to stay like it or Not! Corporations will always follow the money, any company who can do it cheaper will follow the money. It is too late for the golden age...Let's leave H1B alone and move forward. Worry about your Family, Loves ones and put food on the table for once!

Every capped H1B should have to reinterview against Americans yearly

We really need to address Oracles abuse of H1B. They lay off Americans and then hire more H1Bs at the same time. There should be a requirement for capped H1Bs to have to interview for the job with a group of qualified Americans yearly. This way we can prove the H1B is needed over an American. Especially at Oracle. I guarantee the H1B wont' be needed because we have a qualified American for the job.

Enough of this stupid H1B topic, if you have anything with proof please report and take action.

To end this stupid topic of H1B.
Oracle is not doing anything illegal. But if you have anything to report, please use the appropriate channels to report with evidence or directly call Trump as is is US Government job visa program.
Don't waste time by posting topic about H1B visas here. You should instead use your time to find a new job.

End the Visa programs- H1B

Microsoft fired 16,000 Americans and then turned around and hired 9,000 workers under H-1B.

Disney fired 250 employees… [and] had those 250 American employees train their replacements under H-1B.

Same with Ford, GM and Chrysler .
We have Americans that are skilled in all these different areas.

Good news from our favorite President on H-1B visas

President Donald Trump's administration on Monday released a proposed regulation to codify an unprecedented fee of more than $100,000 on new H-1B visas for highly skilled foreign workers that has been blocked by the courts.

The fee, first temporarily imposed by Trump last year, dramatically raises the cost of visas that are heavily relied on in the tech, education and research sectors.

A federal judge in June ‌ruled that the fee was illegal and blocked the Trump administration from collecting it.

A Boston-based appeals court is reviewing that decision while a different court considers whether a judge properly rejected a challenge to the fee by a major business group.

Trump's temporary fee increase expires in September, one year after it was issued.

The proposed rule by the Department of Homeland Security, posted in the Federal Register on Monday, would make a fee of $103,265 permanent.

It could be finalized by the end of the year.

H1 Pro TAMPA CITI

If you are not in h1b run out of Citi. You will not be promoted, you will not have any hike whatsoever. If you are from another company - chances are slim to zero that your manager will even care.
How great it is to see the company functioning exactly opposite to the current governments principles. It’s immaculate to see this organization run like this forever.

New Policy for H1Bs

Big development in the H1B scam. Every Software Engineer position at Capital One contains this text:

At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-2, E-3, L-1 and O-1, or any EADs or other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer).

US Immigration Policy Tightens for Skilled Workers

New US immigration policies are creating significant challenges for Indian professionals. USCIS guidance now allows for petition rejections without prior requests for evidence. Additionally, a proposed rule aims to eliminate the 60-day grace period for H-1B visa holders after job loss. These changes could lead to more immediate departures for affected workers. Experts are observing increased interest in alternative long-term visa options.

Citi Tampa - H1 scam

Citi Tampa hires and promotes H1b for all roles. They never prioritize American interests. While the business is done by Americans priority is given to H1Bs at all levels.

HR comes up with several reasons

  1. We weren’t able to find the right talent in Tampa
  2. Only Indian h1b holders have the talent - America has got less talent

On the other hand we see Americans working for daily wages at $14 an hour. We see H1b holders buying half grand homes. This company has gone against the policy of the government firing Americans and residents.

NatGen Engineers

Is the plan to actually integrate/onboard them or replace them with H1-B hires in India, once their systems have been brought over?

There doesn’t seem to be any plan, from what I can tell. Seems like they are trying to figure out what to do with the NatGen folks. Or maybe they aren’t in the plans for the future, and that’s the reason.

American Layoffs

Only Americans will be laid off. H1B and other visa types are a legal obligation, and are expensive to hire, rehire and layoff. So, it is better to be as a H1B employee. You will not be touched and if you have a same caste manager, you have super powers.

7 million active H1B visas since 2015!!

USCIS reported over 7 million active H1B visas since 2015!
This is a shame!!!
GM should stop hiring H1B, OPT, H4 and CPT visas.
The amount of incompetence I’m exposed to on a daily basis at work in quite frightening.
We have more qualified and hardworking locals who can get these jobs.

Caste and Illegal Hiring Practices

Corporate managers are actively exploiting the immigration system, practicing race and caste discrimination, and displacing qualified U.S. citizens.

Your immediate action is required to stop them.If you witness visa fraud, discriminatory favoritism based on race or caste, or hidden Labor Condition Application (LCA) postings, you have a civic and legal duty to blow the whistle.

Federal agencies rely directly on worker reports to shut down these illegal operations, penalize corrupt management, and enforce fair hiring practices.

Do not remain silent while corporate entities bypass federal law at the expense of American workers.Take action immediately by preserving evidence and filing formal complaints through these critical federal channels:

Document LCA Violations: Take clear photographs of mandatory Labor Condition Application (LCA) postings as physical evidence. Federal law requires these to be conspicuously displayed on corporate notice boards, breakroom bulletin boards, or directly inside manager and contractor rooms.

USCIS Fraud Detection: Submit explicit details of visa manipulation directly via the USCIS Tip Form at uscis.govDepartment of Labor:

File a formal workforce exploitation complaint with the DOL Wage and Hour Division at dol.gov

Civil Rights Violations: Report the displacement of citizen employees, racial bias, or caste discrimination to the DHS Civil Rights Complaint Portal at dhs.gov

EEOC Enforcement: Trigger a formal federal investigation into national origin, race, or caste-based discrimination via the EEOC Public Portal at eeoc.gov
