Major Corporate Layoffs
Coming to an office near you! Stay aware.
Anyone notice the trends last 2 years?
I think it’s about time to employ these “small” business losers and run it like a real insurance company
Our leader just hides while our company is attacked daily. This guy has no control over any situation or any type of plan. You just get 10 minutes of him reading off a script every three months on an earnings call. You can hear him flip the pages it’s so embarrassing.
These upper id--ts will just send in whatever they want and load up our backrooms and pi-s off store management. Mondelez upper management is so clueless.
Rumor is there is a hiring freeze. That makes sense with the state of the business, but I’ve seen 20+ people leave and mostly not get replaced. Just in the past 3 months.. In the few instances they have, the backfills old role remains open and the backfill is doing multiple jobs.
The vast majority that I have seen leave are actually good at what they do. Every one that I spoke to also confirmed they were getting paid much more at their new jobs outside the company. They have silently departed.
My boss is always nice and supportive, but I can tell that he is nervous too. He was very professional when I asked him about but said “at Pepsi, you always have to see the focus trends early and be prepared for layoffs at any time.” He’s been here 15+ years and knows his stuff, but I can tell it’s is really wearing on him lately.
What I need to remind myself is to start looking for another job now. Those 20 people were senior levels to me and good. That is a sign of how employees are being valued. The smart people figured this out before me.
Does any one have an idea when the reorganization will come to the refineries? I've heard rumors of October but if they announce the new chart then I don't know if layoffs will happen then or after the first of the year.

What is behind that Smile?
Got confirmation of October layoffs today in my org. Anyone else? Trying to see how big this one will be...
Why I have been hearing is a bit concerning. May be everyone already knows this. But they want to move the entire engineering teams to Offshire. Fully functioning teams. There will be an onshore counterpart for every team.
Reporting to Lesher in what they are calling a strategic advisory role as a vice chair of wholesale banking. Interesting to say the least!
I heard they layed off alot of product folks in TR legal.. is it true?. Does anyone know how many people were impacted
Dan make sure you include the team behind the updates in the next round of rifs
What is up with the Voya 401k website? Broken links. No access to adjusting funds.
I mean we match on colors and both have a clowns running the show.
Can someone please explain to me the Horizon Challenge? Is this a new concept or a fancy name for an old problem? Thanks for any insights.
Ramon still going after adding $10 to our price
Any other groups receive a request for employees to provide their top 3 “accomplishments” this year? Seems odd for this outside of mid year / year end reviews.
Is all the bashing of Schwab and its senior leaders here really warranted? There's a reason why Schwab is consistently ranked a top employer in nearly every city where it has a campus. Because it's a really great place to work. The pay is well above average, the benefits are 1st class and the company does really care about its employees.
Now I don't kid myself. I know at some point that Schwab will need to make a decision in its interest that won't be in mine. I come to this site to get an idea of when that may happen so I can plan accordingly. Instead I just end up reading a bunch of nasty comments about how terrible the company is. Last summer we cancelled our lawn care service for financial reasons and now my husband cuts the grass. I would sure hate to think the crew that came out to my house each week was now online badmouthing me like a lot of you are doing to Schwab.
I love Schwab but I'm a realist. At some point they will probably lay me off. But til then, I am committed to giving them my best and so should the rest of you.
Anyone know which depts were impacted?
LMAO..WFH for the next three weeks!
How pathetic is it that Canon provides these slum-like conditions?
So embarrassing for a company of their size.
Just had a call with my new "leader" at Charter and was told in no uncertain terms "Move to Stamford of you are effectively resigning from the company." Nice right? Alex Taylor cared about one thing and one thing only - building his legacy within the family, regardless of the human capital losses.
Word down at the watering hole is that CFOs fixin' mandate to take a mighty sharp kn--e to everything, and he ain't fixing to waste any time doing it, neither.
Despite issuing a warn notice Gordon Brothers decided to pull the rug out from many Unexpecting employees on August 27. Gordon Brothers should be ashamed of their lack of integrity and compassion.
This video popped on in my queue yesterday by comedian Mike Polk talking about the Cleveland Browns. He refers to the stadium as a Factory of Sadness.

And I thought holy $hit, that’s Wells Fargo. A factory of sadness.
...I woke-up this morning & logged-in without coffee yet, dutiful as ever, only to be blasted half awoken by the new wallpaper shooting bright white laserbeams directly into my face.
You can't hate what this place has become enough. Just so fücking stupid & pointless to have no agency in even setting a desktop background. It's still burning into my face as I gripe.
Message/orders understood - I'll only ever work when it's light outside, fücking id--ts.
You really can drop to the bottom in one cycle. It is common when being transferred out of a group or after a CL promotion.
At what point do we stop calling this a “turnaround” and admit Nike’s leadership sc--wed up? The stock is sitting around $38.
That’s after years of bad decisions, losing momentum with younger customers, getting buried by competitors, and turning some of the most iconic shoes in the world into glorified clearance-rack inventory.
And somehow the people running the company are still getting paid like everything is going great.
Elliott Hill pulled in $36.3 million in 2026 after laying off thousands of hardworking people. Meanwhile, Nike’s stock is still nowhere near where it was a few years ago.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if VA eventually replaces EH as CEO. A lot of people senior leaders are frustrated that we still haven’t seen the turnaround everyone was promised.
EH is unable to get the business moving again, especially around innovation, product, and brand momentum, the board is going to have to seriously consider a change. VA could be a logical next choice given his experience and understanding of the company. Sad part is that we don’t have any good replacement options with our stock teetering in the 30’s.
What’s the scoop on the upcoming Hybrid Attendance Adherence meetings for Florence?
It makes no sense. Anyone has a plausable explanation?
Where would you place it?
Forget engineering and join legal. It's dynamic and creative, they are busy but well compensated. Cisco has developed this competency like no other company and this tells you a lot about the direction of the company - extract and protect is the mantra nowadays. Lawyers are not better than engineers, but here at Cisco they can thrive just because that's the game nowadays.
The 800 nurses working under the utilization review umbrella were lied to or was it a bait and switch? The nurses were told a new work hour schedule was in the works -the nurses would be notified this week and the new hours would start Monday 8/31/26
Today in an email that was very flip they ignored the fact they LIED and said the schedule would be released next week to start 09/30/26 Humana Values Really — Golden Rule — NO

The Leaders all need to be Fired
Morale is at all time low
Not professional
I heard a rumor in the office today that the next round of layoffs is September 24th. Has anyone else heard this?
