What departments are affected

Does anyone know what departments are affected in this new layoff development from KOMO News?

8/13 updates

Any new layoffs or news today? I feel so in the dark on whats going on as PLs are not discussing much. Our team was not impacted, but we have several who took VSP. We were also told that PHCO BH was safe for August. But I know that with so many other departments that WERE impacted, that is going to trickle down and affect us all. I keep waiting for that "transparency" that is preached about at every town hall.....

SerDes group !! What a joke !!

Stay away from this group. I’ve honestly never seen anything like it. The leadership is completely disconnected from the technical work, and it feels like meetings are the main thing getting done. There are also some questionable promotion decisions that I found very surprising.
Seriously, don’t put your career at risk by joining this place. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

SIU, Compliance, and similar departments

Any word on the SIU and similar departments? I was told there would be changes in all departments related to compliance like SIU, etc. my understanding was that there was going to be a reporting structure and work shift because of the people that took the VSP. I haven't heard anything yet for the ones that stayed behind but, has anyone heard anything?

Marketing department layoffs

I am curious if anyone knows of any recent impacts in marketing department.

I’m very close to accepting an offer at MC for a marketing role, but was told the org is going thru changes with the new CMO. Something about aligning marketing departments not by regions but in some other way.

Any insights would be helpful. Trying to decide if it’s worth it.

Call center reps

Im seeing lots of people from more higher up roles ( review nurse, IT, corporate analyst etc) say they got vsp offers and dates and tons of information from their dept heads it seems like about whats going on with whos leaving and who’s affected…….but has anyone heard anything regarding the call center? Are they making involuntary cuts regardless of vsp? Some people have been here 5 years and some under a year! I dont wanna start looking for another job because its so hard to find one, but if my department isnt being affected i shouldn’t be too worried then right?

Departments

Anyone have any idea if theyre laying people off from the call center?? I know of at least 2 people in claims ( not analyst or anything) people who take the calls from the providers who got vsp offers…..but what about the ones who worked here only a year like myself? I see lots of people post all over about what their managers say or theyre in IT or a case manager with all of this different information, im just hoping to get some answers to help some friends and myself

County Health Reverses Layoffs with New Funding

The Santa Barbara County Health Department will reinstate fifteen positions previously impacted by layoffs. This reversal is due to a revised state budget that provides additional revenue for the department. The restored roles include various clinical and administrative staff. This funding allows the department to increase productivity and improve workflow efficiency. The department is using this year to enhance operations in anticipation of potential future budget changes.
