I may have passed my PIP but I doubt it.

Education was a measurement and I still have a few Stand and Delivers to submit.
Met with manager at 2week interval and never again. We began focusing on the other PIP objectives ie, ensuring good customer interaction, presentations, etc.

I actually helped move project from POC to deployment as I am an AI FDE

Currently onboarded at customer and manager makes statements like “OP will continue to help get this to prod” “OP is getting contractor term extended for this deployment”.

I feel the uncertainty creeping on me and I just don’t know what to expect.
I’ve been PIP’d before and passed. That one was a 45-day PIP that I completed in 30-days. 90-days was a bit different.

What should I really expect come Tuesday?
What are some things I should do before then?

I’m in Texas if that helps.

So apparently the August layoffs are completely canceled again.

At this point, does anyone actually know what’s going on at Oracle?

For weeks we’ve been hearing about another major round of cuts coming in August, managers supposedly making lists, double-digit reductions on some teams, 6 a.m. emails, cuts before September 1, etc. People have basically been sitting around waiting to find out whether they still have a job.

And now… nothing? Canceled again?

The constant back-and-forth is getting ridiculous. One week everyone is convinced a huge RIF is imminent, then the date moves, then rumors start again, and now supposedly August is off entirely.

Has anyone heard anything credible internally about what changed? Are the layoffs actually canceled, just postponed into September, or is nobody—including management—really sure what the plan is anymore?

Would especially like to hear from Oracle employees/managers who have gotten an actual update rather than another round of Blind rumors.

Seems like no one has any official word on what restructure will look like, how many can expect to be cut, when it may be announced vs when it will take effect. Any word from the “rumor mill?” Seems to be all we have. I’m a CC in a heavy Humana state.

Could someone from management please let us know what the plans are for the three GSCs? At this point, we don't care anymore lol, we just want some clarity on whether layoffs are coming and, if so, when so we can prepare accordingly.

Is it happening on 25th or are these again baseless rumours like 18th.
Although got to know from HR that it will happen in phases and the first batch of layoff will definitely be in August.

Heard the update on GCC. A lot of questions were asked by attendees of which some were selected for response. The answers were non-answers which was not surprising. People can handle uncertainty and difficult truths much better when they are presented plainly and honestly. I just wish our leaders understood that.

Do we know what the expected timeline is for the layoffs? I wanted to clarify if they are projected to happen just during August or if they will continue through the rest of the year.

It seems like many people are already regretting their choice.

I’m grasping at straws here so take it easy on me in the responses please. I’ve noticed from reading posts on here that a few departments are having townhalls in August which is when RIF is allegedly supposed to occur. My department doesn’t have any townhalls scheduled until September after the initial VSP separation date and it’s 1 of those choose between 2 different dates type of meetings. I feel as though if we were laid off it would be 1 day only, the option to choose is making me feel as though we won’t be affected by RIF’s. This whole fiasco has been a disaster! I don’t want to dox myself but I work in PHCO.

I’m honestly tired of the waiting game. If you’re going to do layoffs just do it already. They already know who is going to be let go so just do it. The anxiety of waiting and wondering is getting so exhausting. In my area WFH jobs are non existent except for Centene. I have put my resume out there and applied for over 50 jobs already in case I get cut and was declined from most or never received a response. I’ve been with this company for almost four years now and have made it through other layoffs but they didn’t feel as extreme as this one.
I honestly just want answers or some type of update. The job market is awful right now and this is going to hurt a lot of people who live in smaller towns with not many options for employment. I truly hope I make it through these cuts but I’m mentally preparing myself to be let go. I’m still working just as hard every day but the anxiety is causing me to be physically sick. Sorry just needed to vent.

Im not sure if it’s because im not someone whos getting laid off, or it just hasn’t caught up to me yet…..but im wondering where everyone’s getting this august 12th-14th date as the timeframe we’re all supposedly supposed to know if involuntarily layoffs will happen ?I check my emails nearly every hour since this whole thing started and all ive gotten is im not eligible for vsp. Thats it, i see so many posts even on facebook of people talking about what and when their separation dates are. But i get no information, my sup tells my team nothing. I work in claims talking to the providers and do authorizations, so is it just certain departments with this information or are some PL/supervisors more willing to talk?

So what's all this I hear about Fidelis Care being phased out/lost/whatever it's called? I used to live in NY and was a Fidelis team member from 2016-2022, so before and after the Centene acquisition. Is the entire health plan going? Just certain departments? Whatever the case, it's going to have massive downstream effects. They're one of the largest MCOs in NY, if not the largest.

I’ve been hearing rumors about potential layoffs in EAcX and MACx sometime in August. Has anyone heard any credible updates or know if there’s any truth to it? Also, are people hearing about a specific percentage of employees that could be impacted, or is it all speculation at this point?

People are being cherry-picked from existing teams to form new teams. The decisions are made from the top levels and managers typically don't know what's going to happen. Get ready for another round since IBM bolsters their earnings on cost reduction.

I heard they're tightening the belt and only renewing some contractor positions. From what I've been told, unless you're considered top tier, renewals may not happen.

After the roller coaster of the last several months, this just feels like another blow for contractors.

Sarah or anyone from her team, please provide clarification on what is happening? You preach transparency, but as you can see from this Forum, employees are feeling confused, uncertain and obviously need answers and what is happening to make good decisions about their future with Centene. PLEASE, provide more answers to your employees!
