-3k below smb forcast
Per Floods call yesterday the smb new branded group was 3k below forecast. I still am unsure of what’s going to happen with us as a segment of the group as a lot is transition over to i2B but i will say it’s brutal out here.
Have a great weekend everyone,
Predictions for FY27
Here are my top 8 predictions for the remainder of FY27
- GC lumped with Korea, SE&I, and Japan. Will help improve GC earnings + makes sense from consumer preference stand point. I’d anticipate some GC roles to go as they’d be duplicative of existing APLA roles
- Rest of APLA lumped with EMEA. Will help improve EMEA earnings. Same points as above. Will probably eliminate roles in EMEA and have them elsewhere. Makes it easier for long term roles adjustments if roles are outside of Europe. Reduce Europe logistics footprint
- Innovation cut heavily due to AI (graphic Tees, etc)
- Planning roles outsourced to India. This is no longer a tech prophecy, it’s not entering the biz
- Palantir/SwooshIQ engagement increases. Reducing analytics enterprise wide
- SCPO analytics dissolved (pushed into Biz functions)
- Increased hiring in NA from reduced roles in NA DCs.
- September HC reductions from supporting functions
Forecasts
After over a year of not having them, forecast calls have resumed. Needless to say- the ET has been “surprised” at the losses being forecasted- to the point of not believing the managers forecasts, and they still do not have access to a lot of reporting that would have alerted them to the 10s of millions being lost. This reorg is a massive miss. I don't see in what world an IPO will happen. Who would invest in this dumpster fire.
If history is a teacher, we should look to the past to predict the future. Unless "this time is different."
I don't think this run up has much more to go. Maybe a little, but it's a lot of risk, especially after seeing how quickly it can drop. I started working at Micron (Boise) in 2004 and just recently quit. I remember looking at the stock price history after I started working there and looking at the run up to 2001 and thinking "of course it was going to come crashing down." Now, I want all of you to look at Micron stock now, and set the timeline to MAX. Compare where it is now to where it was in 2001. even if you adjust the chart to inflation, it still shows a massive bubble. All I'm saying is I wouldn't be long on this stock. I'm predicting a bubble burst in October AT THE LATEST. We'll see if I'm right.

Optimum's outlook 'more aspirational than realistic' – analyst
Optimum's new multi-year outlook sees its broadband business stabilizing at 3.8 million subs by the end of 2028. That's a 'tall order,' says New Street Research, which expects broadband losses to continue.

Guyana Production declined 10,000bopd Month on Month
Looking like the sacred cow Guyana is starting to Plateau hard.
904,000bopd in May. Still impressive and above design capacity production but, some challenges are imminent.
Lisa will shortly be sub 100,000 bopd and expecting average Aug production to be south of 866,000 bopd.
At this point forecasting a -200 bopd drop every single day…
This will raise alarms in the God Pod where additional water injection will be coupled to the system. The 4 FPSOs reached Peak in May…now it’s a daily drop until the next FPSO added.

Do we think changes will be announced at earnings call next week?
It's good to see that layoffs no longer equal a stock surge, but the opposite
SentinelOne shares plunged in after-hours trading on Wall Street after the company published its first-quarter financial results and announced layoffs affecting 8% of its workforce. The cybersecurity company reported results that largely met expectations but issued a relatively weak forecast, sending the stock sharply lower in late trading.

Q2 sales
Heard from area VP that Q2 sales is looking bad and people are starting to pull in Q3 sales numbers. Looks like this is going to spiral down to year end with no actual growth. Second half of year will suffer due to pull in price increases.
RIF 2026 Q4 - 2027 Q3?
Can anyone corroborate a document I found which forecasts RIF beginning in Q4 through Q3 of next year? I don't want to give too many details but it was a full time employee forecast for one of the major support units. The decline began in Q4 with a few hundred RIFees each quarter and then a steep drop in Q3.
Earnings report: 2.2% growth. Lower than inflation.
what will the rest of the year look like?

Surplus May, Jun or July
So what is it. Its time to start thinking about summer time surplus. We all know it happens, next up will be October and move right into Nov. So the question. WHEN !

Any magic bullets this quarter
Last quarter we made the numbers due to last minute unexpected deals and currency tailwinds
Looks like currency is now a headwind, anyone know how the numbers are looking ?
Hail mary QCOM...
Per latest IDC forecast, the global smartphone market is expected to decline by 13% this year—roughly a drop of 160 million units—driven in part by memory shortages and supply constraints.
Recovery isn’t anticipated until mid-2027, and even then, not to prior peak levels. This report predates the current geopolitical tensions I guess, so a prolonged conflict could lead to an even sharper downturn.
So, overall we're all cooked nicely folks!!
The Endgame (literally)
Disney spent more on MARKETING for Avengers Endgame than the ENITRE MARKET CAP of xerox right now. $1.36/share or 34cents from that 4 way reverse split.
Dislisting is the sub $1 market which will probably be before summer
RIF confirmed
These next two weeks will be rough, get ready guys. Some orgs in OHAI will get 30%
I give CBS News another year
Maybe two at the most. It's losing credibility, which is resulting in shrinking ratings, which leads to layoffs...rinse and repeat until nothing is left but a shell of once respected news organization.
Operations to be decimated
Plans are in the works to decimate all disciplines within Operations. We will see if upper management goes through with it. Some cuts are inevitable, but the new plan seems a bit of overkill. Regardless, a bumpy ride is forecast.
Earnings Call Preditions
5 days until 2025 earnings call.
Will we get 2026 store closing announcements?
Any other surprises coming?

An interesting read
Att debt trend
AT&T Debt 2013:
Long-Term Debt (End of 2013): Approximately $69.29 billion.
Total Liabilities (2013): The company had a substantially lower debt burden compared to the post-acquisition peaks
AT&T Debt 2026 (Projected/Early 2026 Data):
Total Debt (End of 2025/Early 2026): $136.1 billion.
Net Debt (End of 2025): $117.4 billion.
My earnings prediction
From where I sit in the company. I see lots of customers leaving and almost zero new ones
With that evidence and the currency headwind with the stronger dollar and the fact we made last quarters numbers with two lucky unexpected last minute deals, I believe we will miss earnings on April 29
Stock then will drop to 15
FY26 IBP
My director spilled to me that the IBP is likely over 140 this year.
Atlantic City Job Market: Proactive Steps for 2026
Atlantic City's cyclical economy is influenced by broader national trends. Companies nationwide are hiring cautiously and restructuring steadily in 2026. Workers should watch for subtle layoff signals like reduced overtime and slower hiring. Maintaining career leverage through updated skills and market awareness is crucial. Developing side income streams can also provide financial insulation.

$60 by end of March.
And followed by another mega layoffs.
Is NCR Voyix heading toward bankruptcy?
After clownish all hand call yesterday, the stock price getting to 7.64, recent layoffs, is there any hope for Voyix or will we witness its demise in 2026?

Too many weird financial requests for information from 2-3 years ago. Stop telling us "Audit requests" or "forecast" we are not that stupid, since prior fiscal years have already been audited.
Arizona Economy Poised for 2026 Acceleration
Arizona's economy currently shows slow job and income growth. Housing affordability remains a challenge, and permits are down. Retail sales, however, have accelerated strongly through September. The state's economic growth is forecast to accelerate next year. Job gains, personal income, and sales are all expected to rise in 2026.

Shell misses Q4 forecasts by 11%
What does this mean for the future of the company ? Down 11% YoY is a lot, and missed analysts forecast of $3.5bn.
Should we expect layoffs? And where would those occur ?
Earnings predictions?
Anyone have any predictions for earnings next week?
With the stock in the 50s currently, anything but massively overachieving would be a disaster.
