And I couldn't be more grateful. That place is a disaster, and getting out was the push I needed to find something better. Being let go feels like a punishment when it happens, but with time you realize it's a gift. Go find something that doesn't drain you. You'll thank yourself later.

Time to say good bye
In TRM and part of risk - my game with BNY ended today. Was. Good stint for 14 years. But have no regrets.
Adios
Just stopped by to thank the current employees for keeping the ship afloat long enough for my pension to clear and hit my IRA. I wish you all the best. Severance is a great thing after hitting the MR75. Good luck to you all!
I'm Out
Finally and officially. After all these years of dedicated work, I leave with no recognition, no empathy, no real thank you, and not even an opportunity to say goodbye to my team or colleagues or people I knew. Just a simple, “We'll contact you with instructions to return your equipment” and a forced “thank you for your time with the company.” No goodbye. No ceremony. No acknowledgment of working ten years. Just a "log off and be done." WOW. I never imagined I'd be treated as insignificant as I was by management after giving so many years to this company. It honestly feels like they had been waiting for this moment and wanted me gone long ago. But you know what? I'm finally out. And that's what matters now. Overall the company has become more toxic and unpredictable. In retrospect, I'm glad I'm finally gone.
I received an invite no lie (west coast)
It's been a pleasure working with you all I had some great times and consider myself an overachiever but these last few months have drained all my energy. I wish everyone the best, specially those that stay behind. Over and out.
BYE L3
.. I appreciated going out like the ending of an 80s movie .. middle fingers up and walking away. Good riddance!
Lay Offs Today
Layoffs today, best of luck everyone!
Reorg absurdity: An absentee part-time manager is picking our Sept 15 layoff list.
Just found out the upcoming Sept 15 layoff list for our team is being decided by the part-time, remote people manager after the recent reorg.
It just proves how toxic and out-of-touch leadership has become. This company has completely deteriorated and lost its way. Honestly, getting laid off might be a blessing in disguise at this point. It’s time to say goodbye to this place. Good luck to everyone on the 15th.
Situation in Warsaw office
What is going on in Warsaw. I see lots of people sending goodbye notices today. Which departments were hit and how bad is it?
SCREAMING, CRYING, THROWING UP!
ACCEPTED. OUT THIS BI--H SEPTEMBER 4TH.
9000 layoffs?
https://oilprice.com/Energy/Crude-Oil/Oil-and-Gas-Employment-Hits-a-2026-Low-Even-as-Production-Sets-Records.html
When did they announce these 9000 layoffs? Where are they? Nothing is mentioned in the meetings they have.
Good luck to those affected.
Clean getaway
Left after 5 years, no regrets. New role pays 18% more and I actually take my lunch breaks.
No regrets
I wanted out for a while, so this is doing me a favor. I feel bad for my teammates who'll have more work now, but it is what it is. I leave happy.
See the 15 minute calendar blocks on Sr Director calendars
Good luck to all!
Tomorrow is the Day
Just hearing from 4 Indiana stores that have been divested. Good luck to everyone out there!
What a day!!
Today I witnessed all that is wrong with the human race. All people really care about is themselves, they asked the questions, but all they really wanted to know or hear was not me, not me(this time). However, what I found most disgusting was the thanking and emoji sending of hi---rs henchmen who were send out in force, it made me sick to my stomach tbh, to all the good people who left today I genuinely will miss you guys and I wish you well over the next few months.
30% layoffs to support use of AI
had a meeting with stuart before the break and he talked very excitedly about a 30% layoff due to AI investment. good luck everyone
David Cordani

GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!
Bye KD
Finally gone. Stock should go up
goodbye Dell
Got laid off last week after 10 years of work.
My manager joined the regular 1x1 on Tuesday and started reading "the script" . After that, crickets.
My VP, with whom I worked for a number of years, didn't even acknowledge me. So much for all the late night calls and weekend escalations. Not even a private reply to a goodbye email. Meh.
So long to 8 people next week
Thoughts and prayers to the 8 in sales who will be laid off next week
Best of luck !
Layoffs today
Good luck everybody.

VERIZON - DOW
Bye Bye.....6/29
Does anyone know
Does anyone know how high up the chain the decision of if your VSP will be accepted or declined?? Is it Director or Higher?? I decided to take the offer and move on from the company. 10+ years and its time for me to walk away. No regrets..yes I will miss all my friends that are staying, but sometimes you just need to walk away. And no matter what you choose to do its the best decision either way. Good luck everyone
Wishing all you homies the best
Sorry for the linkedin slop. I'm not about that life on main but yall have been such a huge part of my professional career I have to say goodbye somewhere.
I wasn't surprised when Nike laid me off this time around. 4 months parental leave + sabbatical on the horizon is a tough pill for a declining company.
Anyways. After 6 weeks and 7 or 8 interviews I have my next job lined up. Similar pay, bigger title, bigger responsibilities. Everyone works in the same timezone and the office is full of smiles. I guess I do have to start wearing pants to work though.
I think I'm finally ready to close this toxic chapter of my life. It has been a long while since I was proud to work at Nike. But I can say I've always been proud to call all you OGs my coworker. I'll always fondly remember our golden years of competence.
I'm headed to the other coast though so I'll probably never see any of you again. 🫡
Look out for yourselves. If you start thinking your skills might be getting rusty brush off your resume and move on. The couch is comfy but Nike hates seniority.
Got Surplussed This AM. 2 From My Sales Team + 5 More From The VP Organization I Align To
Was a good run, I will miss all you good people I've come to know.
New England - i got notified

Today’s the day
Well folks the day has come as my last day here at fidelity. To this community I want to say thanks for the entertainment and the small pockets of actual true facts warning on layoffs. To those affected by the layoff I wish you the very best and hope for a speedy bounce back to a job less toxic and more pay. To those still at fidelity I hope you guys make it through the sh-t show that has ensued.
VZI inbox filled with goodbyes
Had seen the golden era of Verizon US, EU and India completely collapsed. In last few weeks many of my VZI folks. With whom I worked closely left the org. Same thing I observed in different domains so many good byes emails.
No one talking about the layoffs happening today?
Layoffs today. Wish you all the best!
Loserville
Former happy Cengager checking in to see what’s happening in Loserville.
Get out and let Cengage burn.
There is more money and better cultures out here.
Good luck
PW is out!
Long life PW
Notified and relieved
I felt down for about five minutes. Then I started looking forward to my first good weekend in God knows how long, and then to having this forsaken place in the rearview mirror. I know I'll have a hard time finding another job, but I'm going to enjoy this newfound freedom before I start worrying about that.
