Could there be a possibility that the company is purposely overloading these shared work locations where there is not enough room to work, so people get sick, die, and the company can then cash in on their dead peasant insurance policies to pay down... — read more
Class of 8/9 Severance Payment
Anybody know when those of us that were laid off on 8/9 will get our severance payment? I signed the waiver on 8/9.
A tale of industry as it relates to RTO
I’m a former AWS employee: most of the hot takes on Amazon's new strict return-to-office policy are wrong. Anyone who’s been paying attention saw this coming years ago. And ultimately, it comes down to taxes and economics. Here's their plan: Phase... — read more

What did D3 win ? Was it worth it ?
Doesn’t seem worth it at all. Pay raise and new salaries sound paltry. Medical insurance is still expensive. Company is laughing at union.
Rigged
The stock has got to be rigged. I knew by posting the stock soaring comment would cause it to go south. It was a test and man was i right. Watch it tank back to $16.00. What an incredible game the company plays
Why even make a distinction between waves 2 and 3?
Wave 3 started already, wave 2 is still under way. Why don’t we just call it as it is, “uninterrupted endless wave of layoffs”? I’m sarcastic, but making the distinction can make some people falsely believe that they are safe from layoffs, for a... — read more

Stock Surge - LOL
LOL on the ‘stock surge’. Since 2016, the SP500 is up 173%. Meanwhile, AT&T stock is down 30% over that same time period. Great Leadership!
HR is still the biggest headwind to success
I'm a retired r/75 in the past year and watching many of my life long friends lose their jobs to the cuts over the last few years. I see a future with 75k employees and a set of assets that can turn a decent mid single growth to keep up a small... — read more

Exempt Managers who were on CP

Time To Refocus

CWA District 6
I’m happy that District 3 and 9 actually worked hard for their union members. District 6 is a joke and is weak. I am so ashamed to be part of D6.
What a weekend.
The sad part is there was probably some huge bonus to people way higher that the affected craft employees, CP employees, lower management, and customers if they got DirecTV and both District TAs done by 9/15.

Yeah, I stole it from another poster, but their statement speaks truth to power.
