Back in 2011 AT&T Didn't Want To Expand Rural Coverage Because Of $3.8 Billion Price Tag, now they are getting a big pie of 42B, thanks to high energy Binden.
John Miller vice president said severance is not guaranteed.
I told you so.
Any approvals for virtual?
There has been some posts here about BUs tauting that they will have 0% virtual workers and denying all requests. But has anyone heard of approvals and what org?
No Guarantee of Severance In Legg / Miller Org
John Miller’s answer to a very specific question about severance was that he cannot guarantee severance even if you meet all of the severance requirements, your assigned location is more than 50 miles from your current location and you decline RTO... — read more

Productivity Plummet
Has anybody else’s productivity plummeted? It’s hard to focus wondering if I will even have a job at the end of the month(s) or year. I don’t think the company will fall apart when some of us are gone but I do think there is a slow screeching brakes... — read more
Anyone received a RTO to NJ from out of state?
Has anyone received a RTO letter from another state that says your role has moved to Middletown or Bedminster?
Letters going out on Friday, June 30
I was told letters will be going out on Friday to all that are impacted by RTO. You will have until July 29 to give your intent to move or not. Very few exceptions based on if you are working on a sensitive project or not. It's a shame that after... — read more
Can Quantum reviews be rejected by employee
Since I'm going to be laid off, can I reject the review given to me by my jerk manager?
They want me to be grateful to have a job
A lot has already been said and written here about bad management, but their attitude that we should be grateful that we have a job never ceases to amaze me. Really??? They don't think we're so incompetent that we can't find any other option, do... — read more
Got my RTO letter
Basically says , I have to relocate to Dallas before end of the year. Severance offer will be sent “ sometime in the near future”. Basically being held hostage. BAU
The chaos that reigns at AT&T is by design
Unfortunately, it never feels like enough, because the work culture is so toxic, you always want to be away. The higher you go up the management tree, the less trustworthy and knowledgeable the people are. They treat employees like nothing more than... — read more
Percentage of employees who left due to RTO
Any guesses?
Legg Reorg - When?
If there's a reorg in Legg's org, when will it most likely happen? After Sept 1 when RTO finalizes?
Stankey has lost The Employee Base
And he knows it making him more desperate and dangerous. I wouldn’t follow him to the fire escape in a raging inferno.
Prediction
Within 1 year RTO will fail miserably, and organizations will quietly return to a more flexible work/life experience. Do you know how many times I’ve been forced back into the office, only for them to completely reverse course a few months later?... — read more
Where are the letters?
This is such bullsh-t
I'm pleasently suprised
I've now read a few articles that are calling out Stankey and the entire ELT on their mishandling of AT&T. I know it doesn't make much difference in the grand scheme of things, but it is refreshing to see them clobbered by the media instead of having... — read more

Childcare shortages across the nation, and AT&T expects Mangers to return to the office.
Im due back at the office in two weeks; every childcare agency within 10 miles of my house has a waitlist for 6-12 months. Great Timing, AT&T. Thanks for the 12 weeks of maternity leave, but now I'll be pumping from the women's restroom while only... — read more
https://www.reddit.com/r/ATT/comments/13vws1w/att_new_work_mandates_forced_downsizing_incoming/
Heard through the grapevine that come July 2023 AT&T remote workers will be forced back into the office and by November 2023, any workers who are not in a hub city will be required (in order to maintain employment) to work in a hub city.
The writing on the wall.

Surplus, RTO, Relocations, lies..

Anyone have any news on the company possibly moving Atlanta and/or Dallas from an N2 to an N3 Geozone classification?
Another day of no communication
What a disgrace
Leadership communications
Haven’t heard from McElf lately. Stankey only talks to Dallas-based GM and above last week. No word from Welday since RTO announced. Legg talks sometimes. Where’s the leadership? Afraid of hearing from your remaining employees?
