How Did T-Mobile Beat AT&T?

Ten years ago, T was trying to buy T-Mobile. Now, T-Mobile has beat T in just about every way. How did this happen? T-Mobile do it? Or did T do it to themselves?

Red flags

Maybe I'm overly anxious, so everything seems like a red flag to me. Are there any subtle signs that very likely indicate that one will be cut?

Many of us are done with T

If all performance metrics are met

In 3Q, Stankey will host a companywide Townhall. During the Townhall meeting, Stankey will perform for all T employees. Stankey will perform the Hokie Pokie and turn himself around. Mind you, it's if, and only if performance metrics are met.

What was our leadership thinking..

when the company employed all those people who now have almost nothing to do? Employing so many people who will soon become redundant is a miserable fail.

Why do so many employees

View Stankey as some kind of rockstar? What has he done for you lately? What has he ever done besides having run AT&T into a destroyed, worthless company. So many here still want to put him up on a pedistal. Why?

Reorganization

Look for a split in wireline and wireless. The spiral downward can’t continue. Wireline will be set up as its own company and saddled with the debt. Wireless will wind up as a spin-off. Look for thousand of layoffs by year end.

Focus people and do not post anything that has to do with anything except insight on ATT layoffs and maybe pension info. Other than that, keep your uninteresting thoughts to yourself.
