RTO is mostly advocated by lower and middle managers.

Let's be realistic. What interest does the company leadership and the higher management tiers have in returning employees to the offices? I believe none. The expenses are much smaller, the work still gets done and the employees are generally much... — read more

Satellite, satellite

Looks like with the entry of major players such as Tesla and Apple to satellite phone and internet service, Directv is primed to be a takeover target. What do you guys hear? Buy T stock?

Mid-50’s: Tough Decision.....Stay or Retire?

I would like to work 3 more years, but hate to see lump-sum drop over next 3 years (due to increase in segment rates) and also lose my retiree medical (if not off payroll 12/31/21). Those in their mid-50’s : What are you basing your stay/leave... — read more

Bye, bye stock price next iphone will be satellite

The future is not with T, wasted opportunities, debt anchor, worthless leadership, no vision or plan for the future. The next iPhone is rumored to use satellite communications and therefore bypass fake 5G towers from T. Remember the saying “necessity... — read more

ATT leadership

ATT Execs are like the gang who can’t shoot straight. They’ve spent too much time at the saloon drinking (their own koolaid) and playing poker (with shareholder’s money).

Will there be any consequences?

The majority of companies that have seen their stock drop sharply when the pandemic started have recovered by now and plenty are even up compared to March 2020. Then there's T. Not only did we not recover, today we are even slightly below compared to... — read more

What’s our path to being #1?

With AT&T selling 50% of their assets, rewinding Father Time to just become a simple telco company delivering Wireless & Broadband. Slow growth due to saturation in the market place. AT&T needs a hair cut or as Stankey put it “feeding too many... — read more

The people they have been hiring

Recruitment is often a crucial part of any business strategy. However this strategy is very strange here, and what it will bring is very questionable. Is it easier now than ever to get a job at ATT? I wonder if the people this company is now hiring... — read more

Lump Sum Option

I heard Headquarters was ready to put out an HR Statement that would eliminate Lump Sum Pension payments in the future. Has anyone else heard this rumor or heard anything regarding the elimination of a lump sum option in 2022?

Some cheer for retail stores closing

Why do some here think that ATT should have already closed all retail stores? People work there and it will hurt them a lot if they lose their jobs, and on the other hand I don't even see that closing stores leads to any big improvement here. The... — read more

More Store Closures Coming

As Q3 is coming to an end more store closures are happening as well. Closures seem to not be based on performance but based on lease terms and revenue. End of Q3 is the certified dates for closures.

Where do you plan to go?

If you are planning to quit rather than getting vaccinated, where do you plan to apply for a job? It seems to be very slim pickings, other than finding a fully remote position since it looks like every major company is considering a vaccine mandate... — read more

L2-L4 Inside Information?

Does anyone know if L2-L4 management employees are being selectively notified as to whether they are safe from layoff and should not take the med insurance offer prior to 1-1-2022? Also, I would assume no L4's are going to leave - too much salary... — read more

Hello, from the other side

After 5 years of investment in education and getting experience in my new endeavor I finally broke free from the gravity of the ATT globe last week. It's wonderful out here.

What are L2-L4 Ops people making?

I’ve seen average salary + bonus for L2 is between $80k-$150k. Does this sound right? What is the average for L3 and L4? How much are the stock options every year? Any other added benefits when you reach that level?

How much effort do you put into finding a new job?

Somehow it seems to me that those who have the most complaints are also the ones least looking for new opportunities. It happens that colleagues who have always been hard workers and who seem to be satisfied with the conditions at ATT - are... — read more

Job accommodation status

Has anyone who submitted a job accommodation actually received a response or update from the JA team?

They have no clue on how people get work done

Through various re-orgs, I am the only person in my team in my city, state, and time zone. Going to the office and work from home isn’t any different. I actually worked longer hours at home, getting in on early meetings when I would be commuting. I’m... — read more
