CenturyLink seems to be coming apart at the seams
Everyone is unsettled. No one feels safe. Management tells employees that they shouldn't worry about their jobs that they are safe. Then they get RIF'd. The truly disturbing part is that they continue to preach William Clark's "Do The Right Thing". I... — read more

Treating loyal workers in a uncaring manner.

Las Vegas has too many supervisors for the amount of technicians they have.
If the bottom line is the stock, someone needs to look at the amount of supervisors Las Vegas has. Some of them are very highly paid. Vegas has supervisors that have an average of between 9-15 employees under them. There‘s are actually some... — read more

Bad Idea? Or not...
In my humble opinion, Century Go is bad for sales agents, but shouldn't cut down much on field. From a consumer standpoint Go isn't a half bad idea. But they're supposed to only be adding it to new buildings/communities, it would take a long time for... — read more

Treating those laid off as if they've been fired
My dad was laid off today. 41 years of employment with various telecoms bought out by others. They treated him like he had been fired. Made him clean out his cube in 15 minutes and took away his access card. He wasn't the only one. Really sorry about... — read more
Not looking forward to tomorrow
I'm getting really tired of having to dread being laid off every few days. This has become a custom in the past several weeks I could really do without. Do we have any more info on tomorrow's layoffs? If not how many will be affected, then at least... — read more

So where do all the engineers need to go after layoffs? After all, the work still needs done...or does it?
Curious to know what sections they are going to sell off and how they are going to get out of all the regulations/fines? I guess I can see them doing what Sprint did to Embarq back around 06. Take all the assets and leave "Embarq" with all the debt... — read more
All these layoffs and the stock is still tanking
layoffs are not the way to address the financial problems and the commitments made to wall street. should there have been 'some', yes, but what we are going through is absurd

Side Effect of Layoffs
One of the side effects of the layoffs in our area is one they may have hoped for, or didn't see coming. The kids (under 30 educated/smart) are all looking for other jobs. The whole CST group is young with the exception of one guy. Novody out of the... — read more
