Just for the Starlink pumper that has infected this forum. Overpriced, slow speed and only of any use in areas that have septic and wells.

We are bloated and slow
If we had fewer but more competent managers and someone on the top existing in this century, I’m sure we would do better. This way the only thing we are good at is shedding talent. Skilled people do not stick around for a reason.

Lumen stock slowly falling back potential layoffs
Now that the hooplah is calming down and market is seeing through the BS by the cheerleading rah rah CEO. Stock is in $5 range and falling, potential layoffs upcoming ?

Are there Big changes on the horizon?
I see Maxine is officially leaving very soon, what does that mean for Mass Markets? Any one have any insights?
Was a customer
I have been a customer since 1979, but sadly no longer. I called in a repair and after several calls telling me we would not make it today. I got a hold of a supervisor and they told me Denver no longer supports dial tone. How ever there boss would... — read more

Engagement survey was a joke
Just as we all suspected, that survey was yet another dog and pony show. Every time they act like they're going to do something and shocker nothing happens. The classic response "your manager will get with you" is getting old. All those ridiculous... — read more

Will Google fiber & quantum, be combining
How will this work out Lumen and google are now strategically partnering, but we’re also competing in the residential fiber market? Are both going to over lap each other, or is one going to absorb the other??
So, what groups will be affected by the 4th quarter RIF?
which legacy products will Lumen start to dump, and how many souls will be kicked to the curb before the holidays?

Bummer, More Layoffs SLT Says
It's no wonder Lumen pushed out the Meta, AWS, MSFT news craap deals ahead of Meta and MSFT dismal news forecast. The deals must be so small that these "Lumen" deals are not even mentioned by Meta, AWS, or MSFT. Oct 31 (Reuters) - Wall Street was... — read more

Repeat of last Thanksgiving
Not 100% but seems like with all the reshuffling going on RIFs around Thanksgiving for pockets of teams is possible. Would be classy Lumen move to do it before holidays.

Censoring Posts
definitely censoring posts. I tried 4 times to post something and they kept taking it down. It really just reinforced what has already been said on the Pay Increase thread so I'm not sure why it was being deleted.

Who will buy Lumen?
The stock closed at $7.28 today up 9.3%. The best explanation for the 7X price rise since July is the company is close to being purchased. The AI stuff is probably BS. I'll go out on a limb and guess Microsoft.
When is the next round of layoffs coming?
I feel it in the air.
Yes there will be at least some VSP’s This year still.
Engineering manager in Las Vegas took a VSP this week, there must be mote.
