Talked to my friend at Shell they said they are seeing people get 30 to 45 days at the office after notice before layoff and then 30 days pay after layoff. From rumors I gear it does not sound like chevron is going to get anywhere close to that.

Why hasn't Chevron asked for a Voluntary Reduction in Force( VRiF) instead of random selection of those who they deem non-essential? Maybe they cant afford it-how sad.
