Good News - The turnaround has begun

The stock is also responding to the great 2Q results. One of the few E&Ps to beat expectations. Some people on this board don't understand that writedowns - but most people do. (And that is why the stock price shot up over the last few days). It... — read more

On the brite side, I can say for sure that I have nothing to do with this loss. :) ( and so a lot of other people that got laid off). On the sad side, the policy of laying off hardworking people and keeping the useless, pathetic, managers running the... — read more

Layoff predictions 2017 & beyond

If 40% or higher across the company are not gone by the end of 2017 there will be another round next year. From past experiences I can play I dare you to our management and know I will win. So I guess they will choose 10% cut every year until 2021... — read more

Why don't we just sell off the entire thing?

This is sad. Why not not just sell off entire MCBU as there is no longer any significant holdings to support or justify retaining as a BU. Considering Bakken & Eagle Ford are also money black holes with no possibility of reaching breakeven, it seems... — read more

COP is in serious trouble. Any upward movement is immediately driven down by desperate sellers giving up and trying to minimize losses. Major changes need to happen ASAP before ELT drives this company into the ground.

Butt sniffing continues at advanced rate, as Fall layoffs approach. Houston pets continue to prove why the expense moving them here was not worth it during the time of cost cutting measures.
