What are you guys seeing in your locations? I'm sure the former Spectra people are panicking but enbridge guys in downtown know the drill.
Message to leadership

It's official - Layoffs at Enbridge & Spectra March 22
They are gearing up to layoff people on either March 22. Making all sorts of plans and it's the worst kept secret. Remember Al, how you treat people will come back to you in the long run. Wonder if he and Greg can sleep at night?
Is Enbridge worth working for?
Is this company worth working for if layoffs are on a regular basis for the sake of the "stakeholders"? My friends were considering to apply some jobs at Enbridge and I could not really sugar coat the reality.

Are contingent workers a thing?

HEY SPECTRA IT folks - the OUTSOURCING contract has been signed with TCA - confirmed by an Enridge FTE in internal email URL below

From Spectra: Any rumors or thoughts on when they start cutting?
We have been told that planned job reductions are minimal. Yet we know there has to be at least a thousand in Houston. And I would assume a large number in Calgary. Historically, on the Enbridge side, how does this generally work? Should we expect a... — read more

The party line is that no one's pay will be affected in 2017. Somewhere in the official Q&A section it mentioned "a board evaluation of payscales will commence in 2018. Does that mean that demotees can expect a cut or just a freeze in wages?
