@1e3 there have been a couple people to leave the infrastructure pillar this year but pretty sure they weren't forced and were just tired of this bullsh-t
I’ve just visited Blueash today,
and someone mentioned that there are so many forced resignations by Kroger??
Is it true??
@ht You are correct concerning the WARN laws now in effect in the state of Ohio. However, House BIll 96 was introduced and sponsored by a Republician (Rep. Brian Stewart).
@ht I thought they could get around the WARN act but giving us severance for that period of time, essentially making it so layoffs could happen any time.
@tw who is that?
When middle-level executives or directors are removed, sometimes it isn’t visible to people working in other groups. Those individuals simply and silently walk away. This seems to happen throughout the year here. Merch Tech VP is no longer here? I didn’t even know that.
@c3
Not all KP1 is moving...the plan is to eventually move all KP1 downtown not sure on timeline...of course no one thought about parking.
Hopefully leadership is finally starting to figure out how bad Accenture is.
They have to file WARN notices now (can't believe Ohio Republicans actually allowed this considering how anti-American they are) so we are safe for at least 2 months.
I’m assuming that if they do happen, it’ll be later than last year. They had already filed a WARN notice by mid July for the late August lay offs. Most likely need to get KCC situated then they’ll give us the axe.
Is it just departments from KP1 being moved downtown? Curious if those left will be the ones to be laid off so they can get rid of that building
