Legacy Aetna had hubs in BB, NYC, and FL

I’m on the cvs side formerly apart of Aetna and was told this impacts Aetna employees only (stupid) does anyone know how they define 25 miles? Radius or driving miles from address?

@jc their competitors are offshoring entirely with ‘innovation hubs’. Cigna is shunting 70% of their FTE to India. This is not just low level people. Entire teams are mandated to be a balance of 30% onshore 70% offshore, including their leadership. UHC has been doing this for a while. As has The Hartford. No idea on Travelers.

You’ll be glad to go into Rogers or the Atrium a few days a week instead of having your job go to some office park in India, Ireland, or the Philippines. I travel to all of the major CVSH offices and I still think that the Hartford offices are easily the best. (Wellesley is probably the best in terms of workspace but it’s still a cold office park feeling).

Well must only be for Aetna people then because I followed those instructions and found nothing. Found the old link I saw before and now I’m getting an error.

@2zp I'm a nobody at this company and I followed the instructions in this thread and can see it. Although at this point, it's getting close to 9/15 so if your manager hasn't said anything yet, you may not be on the list (over 25 miles, or another exception reason applies)

@10a the document might be on a view access rights basis. I know I saw this one and now it's gone

@2dp I just looked again and it's still there.

1.Open Heartbeat

  1. In the search bar, type in "Return to Office Frequently Asked Questions"
  2. The first result that comes up in the list should be a document titled "Return to Office Colleague FAQs"
  3. When you open it, you will see the details for the RTO effective 9/15/26 for those living near a Hartford office. The top of the document (in blue) says that it was last updated 8/6, and the body of the document says it was updated July 2026. So it's being updated regularly.

@2dp I did see it at one point too. It was already buried and I wonder if there was backlash or something. I think it was taken down.

@28v just wasted 10 mins searching a bunch of variations of “return to office” on both intranet and colleague zone. Found nothing to back up what you’re saying. The “work location and virtual work policy” on colleague zone last updated 2/23/26 says nothing about it. Feel free to elaborate on the exact search parameters and document you’re seeing.

For all the naysayers, it's literally all spelled out in a document on the CVS internet. Just do a search for the return to office document. Stop burying your heads in the sand and actually LOOK for the document that provides the start date (Sept 15th) and the required days in the office (Tues, Wed, Thurs), as well as the information on how it's going to be tracked, and what will happen if you don't comply. Or don't look, and just keep down-voting this post and hope it goes away.

@1mg Fake slop.

Going on two years of this, remember the ai-generated "internal memo" that said a loss of 1500 was coming Dec-2024, yet when it didn't, the fear mongers changed the timeline to Jan-2025?

After being exposed as frauds, here is their pathetic attempt at a fake RTO mandate.

Had only they had tried this hard in their careers, they wouldn't be here preying on the gullible. Move along!

How about they start with the slackers that work from home. Make them go back. They’re the ones that need to be micromanaged. I don’t even feel like I’m in the USA when I walk in the Hartford office.

lol this will get ignored like all prior RTO attempts. Hartford, NYC, Northbrook , Wellesley, blue ba--s, AZ and Texas will continue to be ghost towns. The only office that is anything like the “before times” is Woonsocket. Colleague of mine told me that the Hartford auditorium was only at best 1/4 full for the town hall yesterday.
