Looks like the Qualcomm GPU team operates on family ties. While most people need a relevant Master's degree to get hired, I just get to know that some junior engineers with an unrelated Bachelor's was brought on a few years ago—and legacy hiring like that makes it feel like a family business

I know one senior director in design team brought his son into into the department, not sure if it's same story.

TE group from top down is like this. It's definitely not the only group but do a little research and your head will spin.
Who expects to work in this industry the next year or two in the US and A? I'd put more money on toll takers or phone operators
