Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Funny seeing the person who pushed me out get the same 3 months later.

If I said what I did, it would be too easy to know who I am…I had a great relationship with the engineering group except for one person. This person and I got into a huge fight in the cafe one day. The next day, this engineering manager wouldn’t even talk to me and I was told I should take the VSP/Retirement. I didn’t know that engineer was the managers brother in law. A year later I run into him at an event…he got pushed out 6 months after I did. Have to admit I felt satisfied.

Hmmm. It’s completely true. And probably not as uncommon as you’d think. Hillsboro isn’t a huge city.

@1bs news flash 25% is not enough motivation for loyalists to leave Intel or our savior org! Just give up at this point. We might all retire together

@ca

I found a new job within weeks of leaving Intel. Better job, 25% increase in pay…I don’t hold any fudges, but it will still funny that he got told the same thing when he was ‘advised’ that he should take the early retirement package a few months after he did the same thing to me.

@OP Well, you were blocking the door.

I vote OP Most Likely to go Postal in the cafe!

This is the most maniacal, obsessively unhinged post I've seen on this site, which is saying something.

@OP contact their next employer. Let them know who they hired. Don’t let them off the hook hold them accountable and make sure they get the reputation they earned

I mean I'm happy for you, but why the he-l did you get into a huge fight in the cafe? That's just asking for trouble.
