How does executive management continue to ignore the morale problem

Management is clueless. I know of no other place where executive management would be so indifferent to the absolute rock bottom morale. No wonder they quit doing the surveys.

@OP Aren't they themselves the morale problem?

Absolutely morbid looks on the faces of strangers that I encounter on campus.

Maybe each person dreading their ranking discussions.

Morale has been down for years and only getting worse. They do not care. Take the hint.

I’m not exaggerating: “you’re too emotional,” “you’re too social,” “you’re too caring.” These are treated like red flags. And honestly, look at the leadership layer: zero facial expression, zero warmth. So when you talk about “moral,” I genuinely don’t know what that’s supposed to mean in a place that treats empathy like a liability. Their motto is "“Why be human when you can be… promotable?”

Blaming the unhappiness on the unhappy victims of stupid policies rather than the policy makers.

You are EM Executive material.

Morale is not low because of management, but because of people like you here on this board.

Complaining, whining, lazy, entitled...... Never forget that the workenvionment depends on everybody, not just on managment. You get the culture you deserve....

Morale is so low that it is toxic. I moved to a new building and nearly everyone that I pass in the hallway seems to be looking at me as a hated competitor.

People have such horrific stares as they walk around, as if they are on the brink of self deleting.

Toxic is too nice of a term for what I have witnessed in the facial displays of displeasure or maybe even desperation.

It is obvious that EM will be a future case study in a leadership course on what to avoid for corporate culture.

If the morale problem increases attrition, then EM management are happy.

The EM Executives have a staffing profile that reduces to less than 2000 on Spring Campus.

That is one driver for HotDesking and abandoning buildings. HotDesking reduces employee belongings at work to less than a single backpack contents, and HotDesking also allows people to be quietly exited with almost nobody knowing, as we no longer even have our names on the plaques at the end of each row of cubicles.

Meanwhile EM acquiring a much larger campus in Bangalore.

Note on the Announcements that typically 7 out of 10 announcements are for persons not in HC10. This will get to 9 out of 10 soon.

Morale is just a symptom of EM’s end game.

It's easy to understand once you realize they want people to quit.

The majority of execs are only concerned with themselves. They worry about their RSUs, bonuses etc. Non-execs are just there to do the work and can be replaced at any moment.
