I'd like it even more if there were fewer cuts, but I can't lie that it's not a good job. I think there are many of us who feel the same way, and only mind the frequency of cuts, but otherwise enjoy our jobs (decent pay, decent benefits, great folks to work with, what's not to like?)

Yeah I'm a construction second liner in Jersey and they don't know or care what I do... I can just do nothing all day and let my guys sleep behind the Central offices.This place is great!
My vp has been around for ages, and we NEVER get hit by layoffs. I know it’s tough for some of you to understand but there are great leaders who appreciate employees like myself and my peers. It’s not like the industry is booming anymore, and believe me we put in the hours when it was so we deserve a little R & R while the execs figure out how we will be a viable competitor again.
@OP Is this the letter you sent Dan? Good luck with that
Yeah, nothing like going to work wondering if you're going to be in the next round of firings!
@b0 :D
Me too! I’m a program/project manager and I work maybe 2-3 hours a week. I spend more time with the kiddos shuffling them from their activities than I do working. Verizon cares about work life balance, and I’m proud to be a vteamer for a couple hours a week.
It used to be. I joined in 2019 and I’ve watched the life slowly drain from this place
@OP That’s great to hear Dan! 😂
