Is this true?

I heard that after next month's big layoff each first level will have at least 35 direct reports under them.

@OP Mr. Carr without being asked the question on his last all hands meeting said that basically the rest of the year there’s no worry for any of this. Do I believe him no but he proactively provided this information to everybody so shame on them if there is something in the works.

Yes, there is a huge initiative to flatten the leadership structure like in Amazon. You will see the changes in September before the stock options are due in October.
Verizon is the most top heavy organization and everyone from associate director upwards are being analyzed.
