Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Fiserv will go bankrupt

And we really need to plan for next step. Takis does not know what he is doing. I heard the Fiserv Forum has been a colossal failure…

@f6 😂 Brave enough to call someone low IQ, the irony of posting that comment with no evidence, no elaboration and a mic drop into 5 down votes and counting…Great job buddy.

OP is a low IQ person or just a shitposter trying to rile people up.

Agreed. This company won’t exist in ten years. Shrinking margins and losing customers. Competitive landscape is changing and we won’t be able to service debt. FB saw the writing on the wall. We’re not a bank. Also, if the Stripe/Paypal merger goes through and stable coin adoption increases you can shorten that 10 years to about 7 or 8. This is not a tech company anymore and hasn’t been for a while.

@az well you might like the company but they're not on the up-and-up. You should know how to look at the derivative and the trend if you're anywhere near engineering.

Been to many Forums and this was not different than others. It went well. Speakers were terrible. Too many people imo. Fiserv with $1B quarterly free cash flow isn’t going bankrupt. You might not like the company and that’s fair but don’t also be ignorant.

@a4 those rebadged to Infinite are still working for Fiserv as contractors. Infinite doesn't own any piece of the ATM business line

@a3 not talking about money pass, talking about ppl from atm teams in past in general, people were moved to infinite as contractors.

@a2 what are you talking about? That new MoneyPass Group is being headed up by an American and its a joint venture with another American company. Star network no other news on that front, but likely too many regulatory hurdles to go thru for a sale to work.

They’re basically slowly liquidating its parts. ATMs and Star to Indian company, Star and accel rumors of being bought by the big banks to circumvent the laws limiting merchant fees. Bit by bit liquidation in a way that doesn’t look like one publicly.

@OP Hmm I was at Forum and I’m not typically a rah rah kind of guy but I thought it was one of the better Forums we’ve had.
