Yeah 3M is a sinking ship. The management's only way of saving the ship is to throw people overboard. I'll be laid off with the end of December along with 124 other ppl who were moved from GSC. More to surely follow next year. All in all I must say that knowing when it happens is far better than the eternal uncertainty that this company brought. Working here was like sitting in a tomb anyway 😀 Time to find something stable, and I wish the same to all of you
Enuf of Poland already. No one cares.
@ag haven't heard anybody outside of 3M Poland in Wrocław (ex-GSC) was affected but I doubt this is the end of layoffs and outsourcing to India. I guess we'll share the same fate as GSC in CR. I hope to start my notice period in November so 1/3 of severance isn't eaten away by tax but not that I believe anybody cares. It was once a great place to work.

Yes, they announced collective dismissal today. Around 1/3 of people who where just transferred to 3M Poland
125 people out until the end of March. Mainly former GSC. People who were recently moved to 3M Poland . Most will be gone by the end on the year. Direction philipines.
