@a8 this is often true but not always. Qualtrics has a setting to anonymize responses. If that setting is applied then even the survey administrators cannot see who the respondents are. But truly anonymous surveys are less common. Most are confidential but even then leadership is almost always seeing the aggregated results. Can't speak for every team but this is how it works in my org.
@a6 the data is ALWAYS avaiable to the leadership if they want to see it. unless it's hosted/managed by someone like PWC who publshes their privacy standards and you know that specific language is the same as the contract your elt singed? yeah.. not anon, not confidential. period.
@a1 I obviously can't speak for all surveys, but I can say that in many cases your feedback does matter and drives decision making and long-term planning. There are also other times where leadership sees the data and chooses to just do what they want anyways.
I manage a lot of surveys. For Qualtrics surveys look at the footer. It should say in there whether it's confidential or anonymous. The vast majority are just confidential but some are truly anonymous, even if you have to login to access them.
no survey requiring you login credentials or a customized link just for you will ever be confidental, anon, etc..
Nope. Not confidential. Not anon. You gain nothing by providing feedback since they will never act based on things we tell them. Save yourself time and do them.
