@ch Exxon or Shell or any other competitor already know BP is not a super major. Has not been for a long time.

I’d be suprised if bp even gets mentioned as a serious day to day competitor to Shell or Exxon etc

Announcing that we are no longer a super major feels like a signal for a takeover. Give it 12 months.

It is so offensive. And we claim to care about safety. Not sure that is how it will play out in the future when P&O got slammed with the guilt and shame causing the whole org to suffer. They may be more inclined to take more risk and avoid a repeat.

I heard Chevron gave employees an out-of-cycle bonus to reflect the windfall earnings. The difference is palpable.

F—cking us with our bonuses is definitely the easiest way the LT can lower costs.

The new policy allows your manager to wave a wand and give you only 50% of your bonus without being on a PiP.

@ac our reliability not being great didn’t help though

Much of this stellar performance is the result of strategic decisions made by our new leadership team and their top lieutenants. We now must vastly improve the quality of our bloated workforce which will take some time. Once this is achieved, and not before, it will be reflected in the multiplier. We are not running a charity.

The best profit in nearly half a decade and a 1.0 multiplier. It’s offensive.
