Just Blew It.

Nike went from “Just Do It” to “Just Blew It.” The stock fell from its record closing high of $177.51 in November 2021 to $39.48 on August 25, 2026—a nearly 78% decline. The Swoosh has become a downhill chart. 📈

@ky “Sure buddy. Whatever you say. lol”, the intellectual equivalent of throwing a crayon and declaring victory.

Maybe it’s time for a new design or product leader. If fresh innovative product is the issue. Maybe put someone in place with new and fresh POV.

@cy “Bulletproof” at $39 a share, with $200 billion in value erased? I’d call you delusional, but at this point, that would be a compliment.

Lack of vision - lack of a dream - a brand that went from just do it to winning isn’t for everyone - a self fulfilling prophecy

@ae so old guard wasn’t the bet, what’s the next plan? Have Phil or Mark run the company? We lack new ideas, but at least the rest of the shoe industry is too…

I remember when everyone screamed it was JD fault, reality is, we just realized we were lucky. We never had any real talent, it was all vibes and luck. Also just being a bully in the market. It’s all AI now, no one cares about athletic apparel.

@a5 I don’t work for Adidas, a--hole—I work for Nike. It genuinely pains me to see how far the brand has fallen, but complacency and smug behavior like yours are exactly how we got here. So, respectfully, fu-k you.

@OP How many times has Adidas required you to post this exact same message, troll? Decathlon is nipping at your heels. Adidas employees should be focusing on that. You’ll be in third place soon. lol
