I would hope they hold off til post-peak if anything significant was coming. Taking away resources again right before crunch time is going to just cause everyone who knows what is going on to check out or find something else.
Global Commerce team was laid off overnight. Don’t know how many impacted.
@m3 Obviously not African American designers or marketing experts. Yet the MAGA trolls on here were glad that TGT rolled back DEI. This is why we need diversity when 99% of the people working in corporate are white.
@kr funny. But to be fair, this looks like a rookie mistake on the marketing side (black child, black gloves, pose). What fool put that together and said, “yep we’re good to go!”
Perhaps the Halloween costume team?
I would be very surprised if any layoffs were announced going into Fall National. Speaking of, if you’re presenting, go get your Botox now so we can see your facial expressions this year.
I haven’t heard of anything but I don’t think any TM is safe at Target right now.
Official communication channels = the day the layoffs happen? An email a few days before to let everyone stress out over the weekend? This place is becoming a witch hunt so of course something else will happen, leaders need to feel in charge
@at what to look for in those communication channels? What are the signs
When you need to know something, you will be informed. Stay engaged with official communication channels for updates.
Wondering about this too and would not be surprised if there is more to come, leaders are keen on hiring external rather than growing and development specified team members
